  1. We just had a new pool cover made for our odd shaped pool. Home Solution (Rodrigo Estrada) showed up on time and gave a written estimate the same day. Within two days they had measured and installed the new cover. It fits perfectly and is easy to roll up. The price was right and the service excellent. We would highly recommend Rodrigo if you are looking for a pool cover. He is at Carr. Pte. No 123-A, Ajijic and the phone numbers are 376-766-1192 or 331-465-8200.

  2. Can anyone tell me where the Ajijic post office is now located? We have always had mail delivery, although it is very slow, but for the last 4-5 months we have not received any mail. I know that we should be receiving mail each month but it has totally stopped. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

  3. Yes, Dr. Maya replaced my husbands right hip October 2020. All went very well and it was great to have the surgery done here in Ajijic. Two months ago my best friend also had a hip replacement performed by Dr. Maya here in Ajijic. She is doing fantastic and now rarely even uses her cane. She seems to have healed faster than my husband but there is a 10 year age difference and she was in much better physical shape before the surgery. Dr. Maya is great!

  4. Can anyone tell me the name of the new restaurant that opened up where Hole In One was in Riberas de Pilar? We ate there today and it was wonderful. I want to comment on their web page but can't remember the name.

  5. I will be taking a flight from Guadalajara to Tijuana and crossing the border to the USA on the foot bridge at the airport. Has anyone done this before? Where and when do I complete my immigration form before entering the USA and again when returning to Mexico to catch my flight home? I would like to have this information before I go, rather than having to try find out when I get there.

  6. I would like to thank everyone for their suggestions. We have tried the thunder shirt and it doesn't work. We have also tried loud music to drown out the noise but that is not a solution in the early morning or late at night. We have obtained medication from the vet to calm the most disturbed dog and will look into noise training. We love living in Mexico and know that we have to accept the Mexican way of life which, unfortunately, includes cohetes.

  7. Can anyone tell me when the loud cohetes will stop? We can put up with them but our dogs are terrified. We have had to get medication to calm them down!

I know there is some kind of festival in San Antonio Tlayacapan but was wondering when we could expect a good nights sleep.
