  1. justathought-to answer your question, it really depends on what you are looking for. We shop at Walmart for some things and Costco for other things. We go to Costco once or twice a month. I bought a really nice pair of slippers at Costco on our last visit. Not too expensive and nice quality. I agree with Xena. -Two different ways of shopping. They are not comparable.
  2. Natural peanut butter at SuperLake in San Antonio. And I think I have seen Greek yogurt there. There is a health food store next door and also a health food store in Ajijic. Not that familiar with Chapala area. If you feel adventurous you can make your own peanut butter.
  3. We always use the consulate. For us, it's too important to take a chance.
  4. I go to the shop in Chapala. Driving East from San Antonio. Make a left at the light in Chapala. Make a right at the street before Americas Mueblas (large store on right side of street) They are located on the right side in the middle of the second block.
  5. Try the Vivero in San Antonio. It's behind SuperLake. She usually has a lot of different plants. Do you need directions?
  6. Check out the shop in Chapala. If they can do it it seems a lot easier than ordering parts. JMO
  7. I'm not sure if they do wheels but I take any luggage that needs repairing to a shop in Chapala. From the carraterra when you get to the light in Chapala make a left. Make a right turn just before the Americas Mueblas store. They are on the second block on the right side. Shoe and bag repairs.

  17. When we need something notarized it's for a serious issue so we always use the notaries from the Consulate. Just my two cents.

  19. More misinformation. They are 2 and 3 bedroom condos. Not 1 bedroom.
  20. Why would you give out wrong information? There will be two elevators. One for the condos on Colon and another for the condos facing the street. The residents will have a key or card to use them for security.
