  1. I had the same situation.  Old backup water heater sprung a leak and had to be replaced.  I hadn't used it in years anyway because it was electric.  Abraham Dorado put in a propane on demand type that works perfectly with the solar.  If you are interested, his contact info is 331 480 6028.  He is also on WhatsApp so I just send him a message.

  2. I ate there recently having had exactly the same thing about 6 weeks earlier.  It's a nice setting with good service but the seared tuna salad was now about 1/2 the size and served with peanut sauce instead of sesame dressing as it was the first time.  I can't comment on the rest of the food now because my friends had the same thing based on the recommendation of my previous experience.  To be clear, there was nothing wrong with it.  It just wasn't the same as 6 weeks earlier.

  3. I spent 4 days there a couple of years ago.  That is not nearly enough time.  The city is huge and takes time to get around.  I would decide what your main interests are and go from there.  I was interested in the Museum of Archeology and Teotihuacan mainly and also went to a huge retail food market with Mexico Cooks (More Liana on this board).  Because I was travelling with friends we had a driver but metered taxis and Uber are everywhere.  We stayed in the Plaza Santo Domingo area close to the main square and within walking distance of many of the attractions like the Palacio de Bellas Artes.  There was no time for a visit to the canals or the Frida Khalo Museum or Chapultepec park.
