  1. It is true that the roads are getting less safe but I continue travelling like I have always done.. no travelling after dark and have yet to encounter trouble on the main roads. Of course if one goes on a road like the one between San Cristobal and Palenque , everything is possible although I have never had problemas in that area during the day.
  2. ?? What is that about. I travel 1400 km on a regular basis on a car and I have never been stopped and have been doing it for 25 years.. Sure bad things can happen but a little common sense goes a long way.. If people are to live always being scared of one thing or another maybe they should not live in Mexico.. The US are so much safer.. Ha ha..
  3. and can read the letter without glasses and on and on.. LOL
  4. another hurdle is the non robot proof, how do you distinguish the caps from the non caps?
  5. yes but it is irrelevant I cannot read without glasses.
  6. I had the same problem so I was wondering as well...and I was in the business section.
  7. So I follow carefully the instructions that are very good until the part where I have to read the sentence without glasses?? What s the F..? Why do they think I have glasses for if it is not to read?? So .. without the glasses , I cannot read the sentence, I am that blind.. so the next step is??? Interesting how the nerds making up these programs are not particularly practical...
  8. Good informative video.Thank you
  9. When we told neighbours in California we were hoing to.Mexico they told us we would be killed.. These people lived in central LA..
  10. I have used Lorenza many times over the 20 years I have been here . She is great efficient and fast. Here is her contact information LiC Lorenza Castiello Vallejo Av Ribera 86 Riberas del Pilar 45900 cell 333 106 5912
  11. Lorenza Castiello Vallejo did a lot of work for me at one time and she is very good but I do not have her number any longer
  12. for legal documents the translator has to be court certified. Is Ana Siller Vera court certified?
  13. right but US citizens therefore think places like Chiapas are safe. and it is not any longer..So much for their warning.
  14. The OP is using his real name. I have met him and seems to be a nice and decent man. He comes from another culture so Mexico can be hard to believe when you come from a place where things are looked at in a different manner. . Logic at least the logic I used to know does not prevail here.. The surrealist Andre Breton called Mexico a surreal country and boy was he right.. I think the best bet for the OP is to see if he can have any impact on the board to the end of this year and if not get out sell buy another house or rent until he can see if he is in the right country.
  15. You have two options , talk to the board and the neighbors who may get damaged and do something about it or sell or move out of the place and do not live in a place you do not control. Make sure there are no vacant fields around no workshop and no salon de evento and even then something can come up.. This is Mexico , not the US, Canada or Europe.
  16. The funny part about the warning is that it is very focussed on US citizens. CHiapas has gotten really iffy lately but no US citizen has been involved so everything is fine there.. We are now finding shells 8 and 9mm on the streets... from the gun fights..
  17. I got my RFC from the Chiapas office in San Cristobal and they put my jalisco address so it is correct, maybe colima or Michoacan have less people..
  18. Thanks.. that is what the notario said.. An accountant can do it on line so I am going to pay one to do it and be done with it if I cannot get an appointment.
  19. Ah ok you want puleys to raise the ine..interesting.
  20. yes viva Mexico , Ferret, they probably gave you a generic RFC and then later on you ll end up with another thing that does not match.. aren t the bureaucrats fun?
  21. What is in it for the people who lived here 30 years to say I have been there.. Will you give them a prize?
  22. Many Mexicans do not report the income either so the government has lots of work to do before everyone reports income. They are giving tax breaks to people who do it so there is more and more pressure to get facturas and report income but it is a tough road, I think this move is just another one to tighten up the system.
  23. I am hanging clothes outside including rugs and never lost anything I use the clothe lines I buy in ferretería and pins I buy here . In France we do not use pulleys except in between houses above the streets in the south of France.. you do not need pulleys if it is all on your property, you just have to walk a little bit..
  24. Well Cedros..welcome to reality..The government wants more control and more money how different is it from all other governments. YlFrankly if you are not a citizen you have nothing to say and if you are one you have nothing to say either..If they wsnt you to hsve avalid RFC you ebentually willhave to have one and in the meanwhile have fun.
  25. I have a valid RFC iñ, I am a Mexican citizen and need to have a constancia de situacion fiscal with the electrlnic signature etc.. I have one from 3 years ago but the notario told me i neede a new lne to redl the escritura on tbe house. Itried to make an appointment with SAT but there is no space and i am on the virtual line.. You have your theory and belief I am dealing with reality and when I say they will be overwhelmef i gl by what i am experiencing not my theory Most Mexicans i deal with do not have the new constancia and as they eill need ot eventually for their business the offices will be oberwhelmed
