  1. Assumptions:

I'm on a Canadian Passport, sorry for the neglect. Had been fined in Mexico City due to lack of Passport Stamp in 2008, cost $2,400 mxp paid before release to depart: They, Immigration was holding the plane with our baggage and all relevant documents.

We have all our expired passports: but do not carry them every where. Only when they may contain critical documentation!

Where did anyone other than u say we were traveling on expired passports?? Engage u'r reading skills before the Thumb & Forefinger.

    Cheers!

  2. Thanks for the heads up, we are both Tax Paying Canadian Citizens aka Snow Birds, so that would not apply to us. Strangely we made a transfer about 2.5 months ago, so this is all fairly new. We will update the board on the outcome. Another nail that's unwelcome given all the other issues that we have here with new regulations for financial reasons

  3. Been using this organization for many years. Today I'm informed that they will not be able to transfer any funds to Mexico from my Canadian Bank Account as they are not licensed to operate in Mexico? I explained my issue was currently with their web interface, I was attempting to change the mobile #. to a number I use in Mexico. Question about where I was Located I said Location is Canada I am calling you on a Canadian Phone line at this moment. Anyone had this issue? Were you able to resolve it? If so pls elaborate. Tks

  4. Visited 3 Centro de Salud yesterday & today:

Centro de Salud San Antonio had none said to return in Dec

Centro de Salud Chapala had none but said to Return Friday

Centro de Salud Ajijic had some & we were in & out in 5 minutes, big smiles all around

You need a green card or some proof of your address

Addresses for each Salud are available on google: Centro de Salud + location for specific directions

    Cheers

  5. Many Thanks Chapalence. followed your advice for Chapala, then transposed the Message for a in location in San Antonio. Google came back with 22 or 28 Ramón Velázquez. This street goes down from SunRise Restaurant towards the lake. Facility painted in a similar Scheme as Chapala

Royal Blue Base, White Top, Thin Red Horizontal Line just above the Blue

Could not get the photo to upload

    22 Ramón Velázquez

Centro de Salud Chapala: Is this across from the tennis courts in Parc Christina?

Small branch of same San Antonio: Where , what street & number if possible

Tks in advance for any clarification

  7. Having problems with their web site. I can get it to respond in English but the upgrades for seats & baggage are a black hole. Even their 1 800 number is busy. Just a odd ball thought, are solar flares active at the moment? Has anyone with a Residenté Permenante found a work around to avoid paying the Tourist Tax now c$80.00 per person. Maybe I should be booking thru a local Chapala Travel agency?

  8. Perhaps a list would be in order (for people like me) to keep the various projects identified by a common name & location:

    1. La Pueblita: via Hidalgo and Carr Jocotepec-chapala/México 23 19min West from Riberas

    2. Hotel y Condos en el Lago de Chapala El Dorado: is next to the Radisson, duh!

    3. A nameless facility on/near the waterfront in La Foresta. Still Nameless

    4. Punto Laguna: A Condo, part Commercial part Residential now named, by the Coke Cola Plant in St Antonio

Over to the masses for their edits

    Thanks

  9. No offence taken. Well a Potty was actually the 1st thing that came to mind, have seen several modified chairs for an underside addition. This is a different image of a similar or same thing? Always hard to tell what may have occurred without the additional images. As to the addition, that's up to ### currently ensconced on the throne. Still a nice piece, which was my only intent. Have a good day.......

  10. Simple math: 2200/8 = 275/visit + your chemical costs & tools

    Simple math: 1600/8 = 200/visit + your chemical costs & tools

Depending on the size of a pool & the knowledge necessary to use expensive chemicals, I would suggest that 100 a visit is ample payment for 1 hour or a part of, on a good day. So both the above are quite expensive unless "your chemical costs & tools" is not part of the equation?

    Nice Pool MC

  11. Well well, a 31 numeric in 5 groups? Not a number to remember with out a large type Reference. There is another number above which matches my CFE account number.

So I guess the gods of Mexican Administrative Favours were with us. HOW is a good question that I will ignore for the foreseeable future. They did get me for a borrowed & returned meter many years ago, some $2,600 mxp. Now caged in 15mm solid steel rod. Very noisy to remove.

The 2nd group does total 13 the rest look like invoice dates etc? Go figure!
