  1. Yes, as I said, from the ground around it. That means below and sides for a tub built into the ground.
  2. As mudgirl mentions, anything to be heated and built of masonry should be insulated / isolated from the ground around it. As for heating, whether it will be kept filled, filtered, and circulated, or used as a batch and dump each time, can help to determine how you heat it. Either way can be done with solar thermal systems to have great hot water very cost effectively and with no ongoing fuel needs and no pollution.
  3. That's either going to resolve some long standing in-home feuds.....or fuel them. 😉
  4. Under an international law known as the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI) , you need to have a valid passport whenever you cross the US border. Exceptions: (If you’re crossing into the USA from the Mexican or Canadian border by land or sea, you could also use a passport card, Enhanced Driver’s License, or Trusted Traveler Card.)
  5. Depending on where you're located....ask Beto the metal worker in Ajijic....or in Chapala, an idea would be to go to the muffler / radiator shop north of Soriana - they cut and weld stainless steel exhaust systems so could possibly / probably handle it. Both would be good starting points in any event.
  6. Head over to the Cristiana Park (Chapala) tennis court complex & pro shop any morning about 8 to 10 am and talk to both the staff and the players there. Bet you'll have good results.
  7. Even better....the culprit can admit it...and still get off clean! 😷🤣
  8. As you're heading into Joco, (going west, coming from Ajijic) on the right side there are a couple of good stores both of building materials / supplies and hardware. If they're not the ones who have them, they probably could tell you.
  9. CFE....."sigh".....(shoulder shrug emoji could go here....) This one is also local and from a bill with a meter reading date of July 9, not sure why yours doesn't have it - you can always drop in to the friendly folks @ CFE Chapala and ask.....
  10. Highly recommend: (contact info on the website, or PM me) https://www.iridizen.com/
  11. And this supports the idea of not moving widely about, in general, at this time: https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/08/health/us-coronavirus-saturday/index.html
