highest quality saw palmetto and where to get it
Go Solar replied to bdmowers's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
Yep, good point there.....the "lower" part is more about testing and seeing what works....but if any health / heart concerns, best to bring the MD into the picture. -
Also across the main drag and just south from there on or near the corner is a good small glass and window shop, Adrian and son run it, check with them as well.

Yep. Warm days, cool nights. Yesterday 78F high, night low 61. Perfect. www.ajijicweather.com

LCSCats covered it well, and here's a link from CFE. PM or post back here with any questions. https://app.cfe.mx/Aplicaciones/CCFE/Tarifas/TarifasCRECasa/Tarifas/TarifaDAC.aspx

As MaineCoons mentioned, you may be looking at the Guad weather. 1 - check the true and really well done local weather page here: ajijicweather.com 2 - IMHO, the closest (not really but closest approx) Florida weather to Chapala / Ajijic would be north central FL, like Ocala area. But Chapala is much drier and with bigger day to night temp shifts, so you have cooler nights, from Feb to June.

Satellite Internet Service Anyone Can Install

Rick, agree 100% which was part of my original point / comment. $$$, not really in production or economically viable.....and REALLY not what you'd put on a flat roof anyway which 80+ % of our MX systems go onto. So now we're on the same page.....and Elon can stick with his other industries / planets. 😉 -
Good link. In Wisconsin, one of the testing center chiefs told the media, they have tested hundreds of thousands of people. This means they know that his staff have been in close and repeated contact with several tens of thousands of positive individuals. How many of the staff testers have gotten Covid? "0" ......due to proper precautions and PPE.

Read this comment from that same article: (and most places need a full rebuild to support a slate roof.....) The last time I priced out a Tesla Solar Roof it was close to competitive with a slate roof plus solar, but was nowhere close for any other roofing material plus a regular solar installation. I was surprised to read that your church has an asphalt shingle roof. Also, having seen pictures of the installation it seems like there are a lot of potential failure points in the many small connections needed to make the equivalent of one factory made PV module. -
Not true. It gives a lot of protection to both when properly used. Wisconsin testing center has detailed proof.

To Angus and Cedros; 1 - while I wouldn't reco sending it through the mail w/o a Rx to support it, there is no way it is a prison type offense. 2 - the packaging in MX doesn't lend itself well to sending any kind of quantities in the mail, it is going to get detected and stopped 3 - better to get a Dr. in Canada to prescribe it, I agree 4 - other option especially in BC....some good legal THC products like THC gummy bears or similar treats...... Suerte.

You'll see SAT internet in MX long before you see Tesla solar roofs "taking off", anywhere. He's screwed it up from the start, both technology and pricing. What most people don't understand is that Elon's "solar roof" means (in US & C terms of framed homes) completely removing and replacing the roof structure, not just "re-shingling"......Typical home is 60,000 to 100,000 dollars to do that and install a system of sufficient size. I love the concept and the look....so don't think I'm bashing that part....just that he's promoted the sizzle and no steak for 5 years now and is really still at the tech demo stage. Better suited to new builds, because of that, as well, than an existing home. Panasonic’s deal with Tesla didn’t work out as planned in Buffalo, but it won’t be forgotten - Buffalo Business First (bizjournals.com) -

He hasn't figured out his long promised solar roof tiles yet though. 5 to 6 years now....that one got away from him. -

Here's a link to the OAS page that mentions payments outside Canada, and there is a link near the top for similar for CPP: https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/publicpensions/cpp/old-age-security/while-receiving.html

Where's the "Chairman" and his wife?
Go Solar replied to Jubilacion's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
When the same guy is sales, production, and management.....there might be some delays.....but at least you know you're dealing with the jefe! 😉 -
I was informed in the past 24 hours by a long time key community partner of the Chili, that it is not being planned to happen. Same was mentioned for Shriner's RibFest and Nino's Gala, unfortunately.

A number of CFE solar account holders have recently been receiving 2 page emailed PDF letters dated October 2020 and entitled: Estado de cuenta para liquidacion. See below screenshot, the top is cut off for client privacy reasons. It appears to be an optional offer from CFE to pay net metering accounts for EXCESS energy sent to the grid, versus keeping the kWh credits. Checking and will advise further as more info becomes available. Or you can go into CFE Chapala office to check it directly. And.....don't worry, as far as we can tell, there is nothing that is required unless someone wishes to go this route....if you do nothing, things will remain just as they are now.

Why would Canadians return this winter
Go Solar replied to lakeside7's topic in Ajijic/Chapala/Guadalajara
With the switch to EV's, that can become a new southern trend too! 😉 -
Yes, Harry also has the pool panels as well as solar electric! 😉 Very happy with both, if I may say on his behalf.
