I have had my SS direct deposited into my Actinver account for many years. Never have had a problem with that institution.
-
What is an INE card and where would you get one?
-
P.S. on Actinver: There are plenty of English speakers working there.

Actinver has worked out for our SS deposits for many years. The parking lot in front usually has space unless you go at a busy time of day.

I suggest Daniel Jackson, jeweler, in Ajijic

My calendar says it's Dec. 12th

Thanks. I'll get better ear plugs next year.🙃

Is it my imagination, or are there more "cojetes" this year than usual? This morning it went on for over an hour. What's happening?

My hearing loss makes telephone contact unworkable. Do you have an email address?

I hear that there is a funeral home in Chapala which does Cremations. I would like information on how to contact them by email in order to ask questions about costs and arrangements. Anyone?

My husband just reminded me of why we don't go there. Difficult access for those with locomotion problems. The one on the East side would be better.

Where is the HOLA market on the West side? Before or after Poncho's?
-
I would prefer the place on the strip near the phone company. End of line East, mountain side.

So what we need is the menu for the LCS restaurant, si? Anyone have one?
-
I had a huge turkey and melted cheese sandwich on a dark rye bread; spouse had fajitas. Price for both around $300. Couldn't find a menu for this location on the web but the menu for the other location is on Google.

Spouse and I had lunch there today. Reasonable prices, generous portions, pleasant environment and service. I had a turkey and cheese sandwich and had to take half home. Very good food. Four stars!!

Thought I'd wait a week to let it shake down and then try it for lunch. Review coming! The comments about "losing charm" leave me laughing. 🙃

What is the name of the shop? Looks like there may be two there.

When my spouse and I went to a Chapala attorney after 5 years to obtain Mexican citizenship, we went through all the hoops to accomplish it, but he never mentioned that we needed to speak Spanish at the final step. Due to a number of factors beyond our control, we were not adept enough and our expense and time were in vain. Be aware of this.

You want a very good salmon dinner for way under 300 pesos? Comes with choice of baked potato or mashed, veggies and toasted small bread basket. El Ancla, in the mini mall west of the new Pancho's.
