  1. I believe it is "+52 376(area code) 766 xxxx"
  2. I have used the clear silicone sealer from Fester.
  3. Get a qualified technician to check if your air bags are still in the car. I have had my car repaired at a few different shops here lakeside and in Guadalajara after an accident; later when I traded it in the dealer told me that there were no air bags, he even showed me where they were supposed to be. I am not 100% sure which shop stole them but in my mind they could have killed me; I am so glad that I decided to trade the vehicle (and they found this problem) rather than selling it privately. Apparently there is a pretty good market for stolen air bags and they can be removed in less than an hour.
  4. I too have been streaming for several years with about a 5 download speed. I use a Fire TV Stick and take it when I travel. I do notice that download speed effects the picture quality; not sure if the app or the Fire TV Stick is adjusting resolution; but I am certainly looking forward to the high speed of Ilox fiber optic. As far as picture quality the Shaw Direct HD channels are superior to streaming quality I have now but soon we will see if it download speed, the IPTV service I am currently using, or if I need to upgrade from the Fire TV stick to a device with a faster processor and more memory.
  5. And I forgot to mention that the Callcentric and Fongo numbers work here on WIFI or cellular data.
  6. I have the Telcel Amigo plan and I buy the internet packets (for cellular data) when I go to Canada or the US. I have a free VOIP US phone number from Callcentric that I use with an Iphone app to call US numbers; I think the per call cost is about 2 cents per minute; but my friends can call me on a US number. Also you can call to Canadian numbers for free on Fongo; there is a small cost to purchase the app and a dedicated Canadian phone number for your friends to call. Both Fongo and Callcentric can be used on WIFI or cellular data from Telcel. I have been using both without complaint for about 3-4 years. Text messaging gets a little more complex.
  7. Just to clarify; this meeting was not a presentation by Ilox; it was a presentation by a guy named Lyle who is a customer of Ilox in Guadalajara; and Tom Kessler added some info. It seems both Lyle and Tom have worked very hard to get Ilox to recognize our need for faster internet. It was very clear to me that Ilox is only interested in this business if we put up the capital to kick it off; therefore i don't think this is going forward until there is enough prepaid contracts to pay for the initial cost to run the cable and hookup the prepaid customers. I am certainly looking forward to as many as attended the meeting joining the prepaid group to show Ilox that we are very good customers.
  8. Has anyone upgraded from the Telmex 389 pesos (10 megabits) plan to any higher plan and got anymore speed?
  9. The bike lane is already being used for parking just west of Colon.
  10. I think so; my pool water is sloshing back and forth; chandelier swinging.
  11. Anyone know of a local metal working shop with a lathe ?
  12. Drove the bypass on Tuesday; next time I am going through the town.
  13. I have some test strips that I use to confirm the salt content in my pool vs the display on the electronic chlorinator. They are accurate within about 500 ppm.
  14. Get a free Google Voice number; you can receive calls and text messages on WIFI or cellular data with the Google Voice app on your Android or Iphone.
  15. Drove past the airport at 3:00 PM; a little slow but no problems in either direction.
  16. MJ, you probably just need to have your dish aligned. The 75E quad LNB is the correct LNB and will receive both high def and standard def channels. FYI; I have a 60E LNB installed on my 26"x 36" dish on a temporary basis as my 75E LNB failed. Works pretty good on most channels. Should have a new 75E quad LNB installed in a few days.
  17. Anyone had an implant done by Dr. Candy and results ?
  18. Voxox.com is a service that will assign you a US phone number and you can call forward that number to your Mexican cell phone number and answer the call anywhere in the world on your Mexican cell phone. Been using it for a couple of years and only a few hickups. Your friends can also text to that number. The US number changes if you don't use the service often enough, you can buy a virtual number for $20 per year and that number never changes. Cost for the call forwarding to the Mexican cell phone is about 3 cents per minute. They also have a VOIP app so you can make calls over WIFI at very low cost.
  19. Sorry I can't offer any help but would appreciate if you could PM the guys name.
