He also has dwarf nubian milking goats. As a matter a fact he just has a new baby goat born 2 days ago. What a cutie! He has quite a set up. Honey bees, sells seasonal fruit and veggies, a pecan orchard, peach orchard and lives on the Guadalupe River in Texas near Blanco. He also sells organic goat milk. His best goat milk customers are mother's who buy for their children. They come from Dallas area, Houston and San Antonio just for his milk.
  2. Do mind sharing your recipe? I have a friend who sells quail eggs, duck eggs, and free range eggs. Some of his free range chicken eggs are blue, green, speckled, brown. You should see his chickens! They have feathered fluffy feet. Cockatoo head feathers.
  3. Go to Amazon and search 'foldable wagons'. There are so many. You can get cheap, heavy duty, and specialized. That's my solution for carrying all my heavy groceries. While you're looking if you 'must' have plastic grocery bags you can get them too.
  4. I didn't know that. Thank you for sharing your solution!
  5. Same here NOb, plus they put the self checkout lanes and only 2 full service checkouts plus the gardening checkout. I rarely go there. Now Home Depot is doing that. One full service checkout one day. I patronize the other stores and let them know how much I appreciate customer service.

  8. "In relation to solar panels, the CdTe is safe while encapsulated in the module, but if the panel is damaged and exposed to water, the cadmium telluride could leach into the water. Aside from this contaminated water entering the wider environment through stormwater runoff, this issue raises concerns particularly where rainwater is harvested from a rooftop for use within the building. In an interview on CleanEnergyAuthority, Vice President of Technology for solar panel manufacturer REC, Trond Westgaard, said since cadmium telluride based panels are not officially considered a dangerous product, there is also a risk of them being mixed with other waste after being damaged or at the end of their serviceable life. While even silicon based solar panels have their own problematic element – lead – Mr. Westgaard says tests have shown lead leaching potential of approximately 4 grams of lead per kilowatt installed compared to approximately 23 grams of cadmium per kilowatt installed for CdTe panels. Additionally, he said cadmium is considered 10 times more hazardous than lead. Mr. Westgaard acknowledges the handling of CdTe panels in large solar farms may be closely monitored and recycling programs in place, but states REC is concerned with home solar power and medium scale solar installations that may not be subject to such controls. REC does not use cadmium telluride in any of its solar panels. Earlier this year, Australian solar power solutions provider Energy Matters expressed similar concerns about cadmium panels, stating that while the company is open to the idea of offering CdTe based thin film solar panels at some point and have discussed their concerns with manufacturers, the issues of safety have not yet been addressed to their satisfaction." https://www.energymatters.com.au/renewable-news/em1469/
  9. Cadmium and lead are major offenders of toxic pollution.
  10. But, but.... What about all those batteries and future disposal? Where do they go to die? Don't they pollute the groundwater eventually? Just think of all the batteries for solar, cars etc...
  11. Not a problem, https://www.amazon.com/TV-Listings-TV24-Guide/dp/B004ANMWPY
  12. AHh... Leneord Cohen redo. Nice version! Thank you!
  13. 'IF' only the powers that be would find a way to properly dispose of these batteries drives etc, or offer a refund. It would be a win, win for all. Plan B: offer an incentive to return the devices when you purchase a new phone , computer, etc. For the other stuff either monetary compensation, movie tickets, so long as it will bring the masses to willingly return them.
  14. What a blessing you had with Dory in your life. I'm so sorry for your loss.
  15. A teaspoon of baking soda (a base substance) neutralizes stomach acid so that even if it comes up, you won't feel that burning sensation. Mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 8 ounces of water and drink all of it.
  16. Although the op didn't need this info. Anyone using a PPI should be aware of the long-term effects which Cdif and some others should be taken into consideration prior to commitment. Plus fractures and a whole slew of serious effects. Omeprazole has serious interactions with at least 22 different drugs. 19. Used to you had to purchase Bohemia at speciality liquor stores in Texas. Now Estrella, Bohemia, Victoria, Indio, and Modela are everywhere in Central Texas. Corona is $8.99 a six pack and the afore mentioned are $9.99 or more depending on where you purchase it. Many restaurants have Modela and Bohemia on tap. The mega mug happy hour price is $2.99 and the small mug is $1.99. Domestic beer on tap is running $1.00 for small mug and $2.00 for mega mug. Michaladas are $3.00 happy hour price. It appears they're sending it to Texas! Year before last I purchased Noche Buena for $9.99 a six pack. Here's a price comparison for my area. Mexican beer sells extremely well here. I assume they make more money in the U.S. Also its heavily marketed and the grocery store periodically run sales.

  21. Also it your toilet isn't vented it will clog up. It Is a simple fix most of the time but will require an experienced plumber. Venting toilets isn't the norm in Mexico. If your home is an older one 99% chance it will not be vented. The new homes if you ask they will do it. Make sure you get recomendations preferably from some one who has done this. http://www.jaytechplumbing.com/2011/03/venting/ Combine this with above mentioned problems and it is definitely not good. Good luck!
