Thousands of Mexican plated cars pass the land frontier daily. There are no restriction on cars. The restriction is on non-permanent residents or those without work permits. In the Laredo crossing there are many who live on the Nuevo Laredo side of the border and are Permanent residents with jobs and business in Laredo or with work permits for the USA.

Sorry I didn't take a picture. There were workers there last week on the first floor east part of the building. The were wearing vests & hard hats. Saw them at least 2 days as I walked by!!!!!!

Sick people wearing masks in many Asian countries has been common for a long time. It was common in Mexico in some areas as well. When I visited some Asian countries many years ago you did see masks but very very few.

My wife flew into USA and was not checked for temperature at the airport.

There is no covid test required to fly to Mexico. If Houston is your choice probably one night because of flight times. You can do LAX and return the same day on Volaris.

Your post complained you could not go to a website and print out something. Are you assuming that when and if that option becomes available it will a small size that will fit inside your passport? You already have a form which is probably a lot more official looking than over 150 million Americans have. As is recommend in the USA put the original in a safe place. Make a photocopy to use when needed. I would think that you could fold it to fit your passport. Wow problem solved.

so make a copy and keep the original in a safe place. All you get from the USA ia a small handwritten card. Depending on where you get the shot there might be a stamp with the date, or a small sticker. Many times they don't even write your name in. You could fill in anyone's name. Or even easier, download the form from the internet and make your own.

Excuse me I have not made anything up. My posts regarding the US land border are 100% accurate & 100 % truthful. The regulations are very clear. My personal crossings in Feb and March are accurate. My conversation with 3 immigration agents were truthful and all 3 said they did not consider a vaccination appointment as a Medical appointment under the rules. It is possible that a different agent might. As I have stated before the agents at the point of entry have the ability to admit people if they deem it is correct. A Canadian wanting to pass through the USA by car to return home might be considered essential travel. As I said I am happy for you. You gambled and you made it Great. I didn't say you were lying about your entry. Please give me the same respect. That you have not heard of anyone being refused entry is anecdotal information. Because my wife does not have US permanent residence she flew & I drove for our vaccinations in the US & we returned together by car. I called the Laredo immigration office before the first trip and asked if they considered a vaccination appointnent a medical appointment. I was told no. When I entered in Laredo I asked both times (in February & in March) each border agent if an appointment for a Covid vaccination would be considered a medical appointment. 2 times I was told no You will note that Telz4 did not say he was going for a vaccination. He said he had a "medical appointment" An appointment in a pharmacy for a shot is not a medical appointment. Please understand, I am happy for him. He placed a bet with long odds and he won. So if you are not legally entitled to enter, and you choose to lie to gain entry it is a federal offense. If they ask you for your appointment papers and you present a vaccination appointment there is a huge possibility you will be turned around per 3 different conversations with border agents. It is now so easy to fly to LAX on Volaris in the morning get vaxed near the airport and return in the afternoon why would you risk driving to the border and being denied? The night of May 21st this could all change. I think most of us can agree that the rules in place make no sense. You can enter by plane only with a negative test. You can enter by car with no test. Non residents can only enter by plane. By car non residents need one of the valid reasons per the immigration rules. No tourism. By plane tourism is fine.

I will add.. if from a contact you have, and it was unsolicited, read it carefully and see why there is an attachment and when in doubt contact them first. The last one I received from a contact I had not heard from in years said "it is urgent that you read this" I called her and she said her email had been hacked and she had no way to notify all her contacts. Mine was not the first call. The vast majority of the ransom attacks on business and government agencies occuring lately are by someone opening an email or attachment that that has the trojan or virus attached. There were millions of dollars in ransom paid just this week to get unlock codes to free computers.

Yes you must commit a crime and lie to the immigration agent, and hope they don't ask you for an appointment slip or email for the appointment.
