  1. Cedros, The information on San Antonio has been posted multiple times on the multiple posts you have made. Nothing has changed.
  2. The entire west wall of Los Sabinos is either in someone's yard or carport. Since none of the carports have a door through the wall, did you exit from someone's yard that has a private door?
  3. Don't go/ Less stress for you. Stress kills millions yearly.
  4. If, like thousands of others have done in Texas, you hand them a foreign picture ID and they vaccinate you it is doubtful they consider you are cheating or they would not vaccinate you. They want to vaccinate as many people as possible. HEB even has a place to put a foreign address on their appointment webpage.
  5. Also you can mark it as junk mail or spam and you won't see it again.
  6. Fracc by-laws must fall within legal requirements for an A.C. Corporate law governs A.C.'s. If any part of the by-laws are not legal, then that section or item is invalid. SInce many of the by-laws of fraccs are approved by attorneys that don't understand that they are governed by corporate law and not condo law there are errors.
  7. There is no "fracc law" Fraccs are regulated by corporate law. Many local attorneys are unaware of this and give false advice.
  8. The unofficial weather station in Rio Del Oro reports June was the best rain quantity in 3 years.. {2021 4.24in} {2020 4.12in} {2019 3.52in} Conagua reports that lake Chapala received 31 million cubic meters of water mainly as a result of hurricane Enrique.
  9. According to the OP his wife contracted covid in Panama and is recovering there.
  10. My information is based on over 20 Mexicans receiving vaccinations in the USA. They don't need to know where you are calling or traveling from. They don't need to know what ID you will be using when you make the appointment. Your Passport from any country in the world will work, Drivers license, or any picture ID will work in Texas. Our Mexican passports were fine. I just checked and the Walgreens site is working for appointments in San Antonio Texas. Walgreens does not ask for an address only an email. https://www.walgreens.com/findcare/vaccination/covid-19?ban=covid_vaccine_landing_schedule Here is the HEB appointment for San Antonio They ask address and offer you can enter country if not from USA. They just made an appointment with a Mexican address showing Mexico for county and country https://vaccine.heb.com/scheduler?q=78240
  11. Yes the Tepuxtapec dam is upstream from the Solis dam which you pointed out hasn't been full for at least 3 years. When there is enough water to hit overflow in Tepuxtape then more than a small flow heads to Solis. .The same small flow exit the Solis to the Lerma. So as they haven't "opened" the dams gates for 3 years it becomes obvious that the majority of the seasonal water in the rio Lerma is now from the small inflows to the river as it heads west from rain in the Lerma basin. La Purisima is not on the rio Lerma and really has no river downstream of it.
  12. I only commented because every year the same myth is repeated. There just aren't any dams that they can open up other than Solis. It is increased flow from the watershed of the Lerma not from dams being opened. Also the majority of our lirio and water lettuce comes from the vast marshy areas at the east end of the lake, and as the water rises they are freed and the wind from the east carries them west. To have a dam you need an area behind it with elevation on at least two sides. The vast majority of the Lerma basin is very flat land populated by small volcanic rises The one place the federal government thought of building a dam way back in the 40's never happened.
  13. There are absolutely not 527 dams on the river. They are reservoirs in the basin. Huge difference. Most do not discharge any water that would eventually reach the river. Example is the reservoir in Ixtlahuacan there is no exit for water. The "dam" in Ibarra overflows when the area behind it is full. It is a side channel from the river which flows around it all year. When water reaches a certain level it enters the storage behind the "dam" . At all times the river is flowing past the entrance to that storage area. Someone give me the name of an actual dam that has regulated discharge that "they can open" on the Lerma other than the Solis dam in the state of Mexico.
  14. I would guess you have never traveled through that area. The only dam that has any quantity of water that gets "released" is in the state of Mexico. The amount that passes over the weirs hardly changes year round with the exception of the one in Ibarra. The river actually bypasses that reservoir all year
  15. Of those 527 licensed reservoirs many do not discharge anything to the river. The vast majority are only a few hectarias with a dirt "dam" 5-10 meters high.. Think Ixtlauhuacan. They are licensed on small streams that only have water in the rainy season and do not discharge to the river. They are there to extend the growing season by providing water to local agriculture. If anything they prevent water from entering the river and lessen the flow. On the river itself there are a few weirs that are 3 or 4 meters tall and water flows over those year round. Pictured is what could possibly be called a dam near Ibarra in Michoacan. It has no gates to open. When the area behind it is full the water flows over the concrete spillway. The reservoir behind it is very shallow and dries up to almost nothing in the dry season.
  16. Been on the news for quite a while. Most were on the libre. Most were driving commercial vehicles. There are now massive patrols with the Guardia Nacional, army, and state police on both highways.
  17. There are many places offering with no appointment. If you feel you need one then try HEB or Walmart. I have booked Walgreens for a friend without problems. Just open a Walgreens online account. For CVS you will need to use a VPN. The question is why are you telling them you are from Mexico? Just give them the Address and phone number of your hotel.
  18. Actually fraccs can gate their entrance. Raquet Club and Chula Vista Norte are 2 examples. They can monitor who enters, record information, regulate hours workers can enter etc
  19. Exactly which dams are you referring to? There is a one in the state of Mexico called Solis but the vast majority of the Lerma watershed has no other dams that I am aware if.
  20. Need a different VPN that has more us ip address choices
  21. Why not use the Dish streaming app? https://www.dish.com/availability/ways-to-watch/streaming-boxes#:~:text= DISH %2B Roku ® is a streaming,to each application using your DISH login information.
  22. All but your description of a condominium in Mexico. In Mexico the definition of a condominium would include a closed private community. The vast majority the Mexican condominiums are not vertical. Example lakeside could be Riviera Alta or Vista Alegre which are regulated by condominium law and not corporate law like a fracc association.
  23. Maybe the with their monthly statement and mathematics? Just a guess......
  24. No.... if you read it carefully it says season of rains and tropical cyclones which ends in November. . That is May 15 every year to November every year regardless of actual rain. It is a set date. Maincoons' contest was based on the actual beginnings of a rainy season in the Chapala area as defined on the first post.
  25. Guadalajara has a very different climate than the Chapala basin's micro climate caused by the mountains surrounding 80% of the lake and the effect of the lake as a thermal mass. In GDL afternoon downpours are very common, where lakeside more common at night. Temperatures are different as well. All you need to do is watch local news videos of GDL streets flooded, while Chapala has a sunny rainfree day, to see the difference.
