The restaurant has not changed hands. The owner is also the owner of La palapa del Guayabo which has a different menu. Personally in 20 years I have not seen any change in the food or service. Always great service from Juan and his brother Armando as well as their other family members who work there. Everyone has different tastes and ideas as to what a molcajete should be. (Actually molcajete is the name of the stone vessel and here most of them come from San Lucas Evangelista on the south shore of lake Cajititlán} And as to adding condiments... That is why things like salt, pepper, sauces, etc are on tables in restautrants so customers can season their food to their individual liking.

The average Walmart has 300-400 employees. I am sure you spoke to all of them in Laredo, Houston, and San Antonio. Totally illogical to think your not seeing one is proof they do not exist.

There are many Walmarts with Spanish only employees. Laredo is the first example

What type of "proper" container are you looking for? How many liters? What hardware?

These stories need to be taken with a grain of salt. Most of these stories and studies are done remotely and the author(s) have never visited the city. Average rent includes substandard, and government subsidized housing in the figures thus a city with a lot of lower income people would have a lot more lower cost apartments. Yes the "nice" apartments would less because of market conditions. Even some stories suggest groceries are less (doubtful) Would love to see what $1500 a month breaks down to in Brownsville, Tx..... "To live comfortably in Brownsville, Texas, a minimum annual income $28,800 for a single person is recommended." says another website.

It is a common practice in the restaurant industry ( comminly called a service industry) in many countries t if a client complaine as they start to eat their meal, the meal is different then they ordered, etc. to change the meal, "comp" the meal, offer a future credit, or Possibly a dessert free.
