  1. The government of Jalisco announced that any independent purchases by the state probably would not take place before the end of the year because of the limited supply that has not already been committed . NOTE; This has no effect on the national distribution program of the Federal government
  2. I think the problem is if a person had a flight booked after the 31st of January they would have to re-book in time to leave by the 31st. They would not have had enough time to get the test results before they board.

  4. The same restrictions apply until February 12. It would be doubtful they would violate those restrictions.
  5. Here is the link https://coronavirus.jalisco.gob.mx/no-bajemos-la-guardia/
  6. One would assume that it is in the location where Mom's was before it moved to it's current location.
  7. Aren't there about a zillion recipes online? I used one and that's how I began mine
  8. Of course you are right. It would cost a little more but very easy to do.
  9. I pay online with my mitelmex account and my update is instant. My payment is not automatic so I receive a notice it is due and I pay the day I choose.
  10. Does the Canadian government publish any statistics as to the number of Covid infections caused by airline travelers entering before the requirement of the 72 hour test? And after the requirement for a negative PCR 72 hours before their flight and quarantine requirement the number of persons that became positive while in quarantine? Or is like my best friend used to say "just do something....even if it's wrong.. at least you can say I did something"
  11. I believe you are correct. Every country I have seen requires the test be within 72 hours of departure. Most if not all countries, excluding the USA, require a PCR test.
  12. There is no news on the CFE website of changing residential billing to a monthly cycle. CFE hand delivers bills to millions of residential companies every 2 months. There would be a huge cost increase involved to change to monthly for residential customers. My last billing cycle ended on December 10th. Last year the next cycle ended Feb 10. Checking my account a few minutes ago nothing has changed and there was no billing in January.
  13. Unfortunately Hydroxychloroquine became a political issue. In the early weeks it was tried on patients that were already in intensive care with minimal results. There is a peer reviewed study tried on patients in the early stage of the disease. Outpatient Study Finds that Combination of Zinc, Hydroxychloroquine, and Azithromycin Is Associated with Less Hospitalizations and Death for COVID-19 Patients https://www.preprints.org/manuscript/202007.0025/v1
  14. COVID-19: Three thousand from the UdeG sign up for the vaccination brigades Students from the Health area will be able to apply the vaccine and those from other careers will participate in logistics. About three thousand members of the university community have signed up as volunteers in the vaccination brigades against COVID-19, in response to the call made by the University of Guadalajara (UdeG), said the rector Ricardo Villanueva. Thus, students from the Health area will be able to apply the vaccine and those from other careers will participate in logistics. There will be two courses for those interested in applying vaccines. They will last eight hours and are intended to acquire the basic knowledge, as well as the risks that are in the application, which will be carried out at the University Center for Health Sciences (CUCS). For logistics the course will last only two hours. The rector's forecast is that by the time the biologicals arrive there will be a vaccination point on each university campus.
  15. El Informador Jan 28 According to the cutoff of January 27, 2021, 2 of 53 COVID hospitals in Jalisco report 100% occupancy of patients in general hospitalization, a considerable drop compared to the previous day ) when seven saturated hospitals were reported. However, there are 18 hospitals in total that still remain above 70% occupancy of general beds, which is the "security" level considered by federal health authorities. Regarding beds with a respirator, 6 of 53 medical units report 100% (-1 compared to the previous day) and in Intensive Care Units 4 of 53 hospitals are saturated (-1 compared to the previous day).
  16. The American biotech company Novavax said its COVID-19 vaccine candidate showed an efficacy of 89.3% in a phase 3 clinical trial involving more than 15,000 people. "NVX-CoV2373 has the potential to play an important role in solving this global public health crisis," said the company's President and CEO Stanley Erck. However, the results showed that this vaccine was much less effective against the variant of the coronavirus first identified in South Africa and that it is spreading rapidly around the world.
  17. El Informador today The Secretary of Foreign Relations,Marcelo Ebrard, announced that the pharmaceutical company Pfizer assured the Mexican government that as of February 15, it will resume sending doses of vaccine for COVID-19, which has been agreed. He explained that with Pfizer there is a pre-purchase contract for 32.4 million doses of the vaccine, and it comes directly from the plant in Belgium. According to the commitment, the delivery began on December 23, but there is a delay of about three weeks , which has stopped the progress of the Mexican government's vaccination program. "They have told us that as of February 15 they will resume shipping," said Ebrard. Marcelo Ebrard also informed the legislators that tomorrow, Friday, the Covax mechanism (coordinated by the WHO) will formalize to the Mexican Government the amount of vaccines that will be provided to the country, as well as the date. With this mechanism, Mexico has contracted for the acquisition of 51 million vaccines. "Tomorrow (Friday) Covax will formalize what is going to supply us between February and March," said Ebrard.
  18. Nothing published Normal site is working right now https://app.cfe.mx/Aplicaciones/CCFE/MiEspacio/Login.aspx here is another way to see your account https://app.cfe.mx/Aplicaciones/CCFE/SolicitudesCFE/Solicitudes/ConsultaTuReciboLuzGmx.aspx
  19. I think the OP understood and agreed to this a few days ago. And by the way the consulates do have a Federal Benefits Unit, provide passport services, and provide advisories for US citizens living or visiting abroad.
  20. It's worth a try if not they will tell you what is missing and you can then ask the seller. But you should have a copy of the original factura in addition to the new factura
  21. Is the situation bad? No one says it isn't. There are no COVID specified hospital beds in Chapala. Two civil hospitals in GDL are below 60% occupancy as of this morning's report If your doctor doesn't know how to call the help line possibly you should do it yourself. 33 38 23 32 20 Also actually in Jalisco about 48% of tests are negative according to the secretary of health and I think they would know. So you are entitled to your opinions. But Spencer I like many people have used you and respect you so what you say should be as accurate as your legal advice.
  22. I Think the only statement that is accurate is the fact there is problem with oxygen refills, and a bigger problem with lack of tanks. The no beds in hospitals statements are totally inaccurate for this area. Actually yesterday there were more covid beds available in Jalisco than the day before. as reported by National secretary of health
  23. The used car agency should be helping you. My friend who owns an agency has 1 person who does it all for the buyer. The used car seller should have given you a factura from them to you. They should have also given you a copy of the original factura for the vehicle. to show the chain of ownership from when the vehicle was originally sold new.
  24. The seller should have given it to you. You can try without and see what happens, Always best to to do the change of ownership before you make the final payment to the seller. https://www.jalisco.gob.mx/es/atencion-ciudadana/preguntas-frecuentes/20873
