  1. Changing Apple account location is not an easy thing to do. I just read about it. You have to cancel any subscriptions you have set up. You have to change payment methods to the country location, and various other things I'm not willing to do. So I guess I'll live without the digital license.
  2. My location on the iPhone is set to Mexico. My Apple account is probably set to USA since I obtained it many many years ago. I have been able to download BBVA (Bancomer) bank app.
  3. Yes, I know those links, but bottom line, for some reason, when I go to the iPhone APP store, I can't find licencia digital jalisco. If someone with an iPhone could look in the APP store on their phone and see if it shows up for them? Edit: I do see licencia digital Puebla and licencia digital dgac
  4. What's funny is when I go to the APP store on iPhone there is no licencia digital jalisco
  5. Reviving an older topic. The Jalisco Digital Drivers license APP was supposed to be available August 15, 2023. I have an iPhone and I can't find it in the APP store. Has anyone been able to get a digital version of your Jalisco license?
  6. Do you mean "in the original Blue Rose" instead of Blue Moon? The restaurant is now called "La Fiesta". But be aware it is probably moving in a couple of weeks to a new location.
  7. Was the Cologard correct in it's positive test result? Wondering about accuracy.
  8. Tomgates. Couldn't you have done a money wire from a US Bank to the dealer? That way no money in foreign bank account.
  9. My wife withdrew money at that ATM on Tuesday around noon.
  10. Anyone notice the rainbirds have stopped their relentless noise. I think they died of thirst.
  11. I got my appointment for 9am. There was one guy in line without an appointment. The guy doing the processing asked if I had an appointment and I said yes, 9am and I went right in. I was out at 9:15am.
  12. The West Ajijic location is called "Ancla"
  13. I remember when I first moved here in 2010 a friend sent a Christmas card to us via the mail. She sent it from Newport RI on Dec 1 and it arrived in our mailbox March 15. So I guess if I have to say anything here, it did arrive.
  14. Wish we had that rain in the west end. Nothing measurable here in Ajijic west. Just enough to make marks in the dust.
  15. Fires on Mt Garcia tonight. It's that time of year.
  16. I use PayPal to pay my monthly Totalplay bill. Very easy. Follow instructions given above by Lou.
  17. One other note. I paid online and got 50% off for being over 60 years old. I have an INAPAM card but it wasn't required to get the discount.
  18. So I renewed my Drivers License this morning at 9am. I showed up at 9am and two people were in line in front of me. The first representative you encounter is the guy that checks all your paperwork and puts together a packet that he gives you to take to the next desk. He yelled out and asked if anyone in line had a "cita" (appointment). I was the only one with a cita so I got taken in ahead of the other two. The only worry I had about my paperwork was that my TelMex recibo was printed off my TelMex internet account and it wasn't the "original" that you get in the mail. It didn't matter to them and it passed with flying colors. The second desk is where they fingerprint and photograph you. Once that is done, you hand your packet to desk number three and go outside. Wait outside for them to call your name and hand you your newly renewed license. I was in at 9:00 and out at 9:15. Very effcient.
  19. I was late by 3 months and no one said anything.
  20. No problem. I own and run the ajijicweather.com website.
  21. The Rancho Del Oro weather station which is ajijicweather.com transmits all of its data to WeatherUnderground as station IJALISCO38. So all the data in WeatherUnderground station IJALISCO38 is the same as ajijicweather.com. All of the history is from Rancho Del Oro. None of the history is from the old Riberas site. The Rancho Del Oro site has been up and running and gathering data since 2011.
  22. https://gobiernoenlinea1.jalisco.gob.mx/bancos/Reimprime This link might work for you. You have to wait a couple of days after paying. After going to the link above, select "Obligaciones Derechos Vehiculares". Then enter your License Plate #, last 5# of your VIN, select 2023.
