  1. He sells the Velaquez one which is too wide.
  2. I need one of those wall calendars that have daily squares that you can write in. I've been to 6 places and the only one I've found is the Velaquez one. It is a bit too wide for the space I have. There must be other calendars out there. Anyone know where?
  3. Thanks for the offer tomgates but that is not the part I need. I thought I found the exact one on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Aqua-Rite-Circuit-Board-Replacement/dp/B00HWDTP0E/ref=sr_1_cc_5?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1511810282&sr=1-5-catcorr&keywords=aqua+rite but it turned out it was for a T-15 cell and mine is a T-9. It was quite similar and just over 3,200 pesos so they are taking care of it in the technical center in Guadlalajara. It will cost about 11,000 (ouch). They think it was burnt out by a power surge. I have surge/brownout protection on the nearby pool pump so I will have to put a surge protector on my new control panel.
  4. Rafael and Carlos didn't know much. I had to get experts from Guadalajara to check it out.
  5. I took it about 6 months ago and it was fine. A few potholes to test your reflexes.
  6. Thanks for posting that puro guero as I don't remember that. Typical that these things are announced with great flourish but nothing happens. Have you seen the large sign just west of Piedra Barrenada for the construction of a 14 story condo block?
  7. This week's Guadalajara Reporter has an interesting article on La Pueblita at Tres Cañadas. They are starting to build a large assisted living facility. https://translate.google.com.mx/translate?hl=en&sl=es&u=http://www.axopolis.com/otros-temas/empresas-y-negocios/19230-invierten-500-mdp-en-la-pueblita-el-primer-centro-integral-para-el-retiro-en-mexico.html&prev=search
  8. Since my post I've noticed that Raven is always called Cuervo. Crow is often called the same but sometimes Corneja.
  9. Crow and Raven are different species but here they are called the same-Cuervo. Does any one know the proper Spanish name for Raven?

    meat pie

That is good to know. I haven't made or had any for years.
  11. I used to buy store packaged peanuts there until I found live worms in them. Some of the things in the freezer have been thawed and refrozen. They often have good oranges and unlike Walmart they never run out of broccoli (a necessity for my dogs-I go through a lot of it). They have some good breads. So you have to watch what you buy.
  12. I hope they don't play in a restaurant.
  13. Superlake has red tapered candles today--isle 12.
  14. Don't need CARTILLA NACIONAL DE SALUD in Jocotepec.
  15. I bought a new T cell from Amazon about 6 months ago. I wonder if it is the control panel acting up now.
  16. Thanks. I'm familiar with the two above. I have been to Rafael's store a number of times but have never bought anything as they either don't have what I want or they are much too expensive compared to other places. But I will try him again. I will e mail Carlos and see what he has to say.
  17. I know what you mean I never send water from my aljibe to my tinaco as that water has been sitting around for awhile. My tinaco is filled directly from the street water supply. Many asbestos tinacos have been phased out.
  18. Thanks tomgates. I think my Aqua Rite Cl generator panel is acting up as it is showing salt levels that I think are higher than they really are. In the meantime I got some things to try from a swimming pool forum. If they don't work I'll try Rafael.
  19. How far? In kilometers I don't know but about 10 minutes of driving south from Costco along Lopez Mateos. After you drive up a long hill. You can't miss it
  20. People have tried to develop that area for years. If you go up the old road there you will see an area where they build cobblestone roads, many stone paths and walls and brought in electricity and water. It has all been abandoned for years. Who knows what will happen there?
  21. Yuck. I would try taking it back. Several years back a wine I had bought at Paz liquor store was odd. I took it back and with just a sniff of it the lady exchanged it.
  22. Does anyone know of someone Lakeside who knows all about problems with swimming pool chlorine generators.
  23. I'm looking for the same but blue. I can't remember where I bought the ones I have but I will find the place.

    Thanks. Now it makes sense.
