If Costco or any other store wishes to recoup the 16% on their "old" stock...then just add 16% to the unit price and recoup the tax paid.....a no brainer..I am willing to bet the prices will be raised regardless of the 16% IVA

That was my initial reaction when I started reading this thread. Nothing to prevent them from raising their prices. I've been buying my Purina canned dog food at Pet Avenue because their price per can is cheaper than anywhere else, same as case price. Be interesting to see if it changes.

boy, did you drink the coolaid --HA- did you already forget Texas last year?--they bought into green--windmills  iced up--panels covered in snow--many died--here we come to another deadly winter--be patient--new energy will come--but not in our life time-!

God, are you really that ignorant? Read here

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2021_Texas_power_crisis

Texas was unprepared for the cold and tried to save money by skimping on upkeep for their gas lines. And you'll notice some of the big gas companies made billions overcharging their customers, but I guess that's OK with you, after all screw the customers so long as it doesn't hurt the bottom line.

    5.  Could a warmer, wetter planet actually be better for us?  Geologic history suggests that when the climate was warmer and wetter, deserts were much smaller.

I'm sure the people living in coastal states would just love it. We're already seeing record number of storms, properties damaged, people being forced to move. I've got some desert property I'd be happy to sell you.

This is strange.... hearing that SS check are being deposited "on the 3rd or 4th", because......

Social Security checks are deposited on the second, third, or fourth Wednesday of each month, depending on your day of birth. The Social Security check schedule works as follows: If you were born on the: 1st–10th of the month, expect your Social Security check to be deposited on the 2nd Wednesday of each month; 11-20th on the 3rd Wednesday and 21-31 on the 4th Wednesday.  Since my B-Day is the 22nd, mine is deposited on the 4th Wednesday of every month. Has been for 20 years. Never any other 'day'.

When I first started getting my SS check it arrived on the 4th Wed. also. As soon as I changed banks to one here in Mexico it's been arriving on the 4th day.

And what energy do you suggest ?--it's already shown renewables can't cut it !

They can't "cut it" as you say right now because there's too much opposition to trying to develop alternative energy to it's full potential. From those on the right who think it's some kind of socialist or communist plot to the previously mentioned billionaires who have a vested interest in seeing it fail.

Climate Change is nothing more than a money grabbing fraud-

Oh, and the oil and gas industries and the coal mining companies don't have a vested interest in making sure that we believe it's a fraud? The U.S. could be leading the world in renewable energy and providing jobs for those that have lost theirs in the rapidly declining coal mines but I guess it's better to just keep giving the billionaire owners tax breaks so they can help fund their favorite politician.

Yes you can cut the water off if it is a private system owned and operated/maintained by the fracc.  Just need to make it inconvenient for them by supplying a spigot they can use a bucket to get water from, hopefully too far from their house that they cannot reach it with a water hose.  Very effective collection tool with deadbeats.

Unless you have someone who has dug their own well on their property or someone who doesn't live there permanently and can simply get a pipa (water truck) delivered when they need it. I live in a fracc also and it's a big problem.

My husband is on Tamsulosina o.4mg ,  per day for same problem.

I also use Tamsulosina. Be careful where you buy it. They used to sell it in boxes of 90 capsules but is available now only in boxes of 20. I bought some at Guadalajara pharmacy and it was 139p for 1 box. Week later bought 2 boxes for 79p at Costco, different manufacturer but same product.

  9. Don't feel bad, you're all not alone. We have megacable and it's continually going out. Could be for 5 minutes or half a day. When we call it's usually a message saying that they're aware of the problem in our area and it will be fixed soon. The last time after they had someone come to our home to inspect they replaced the router, still went out. Now they are saying that it's because they are upgrading the fiber optics. we shall see.
