Can we assume that $700 is US dollars and not Canadian nor pesos?
I seriously doubt that it was $700. Even at $700 per eye, $1400 total, that's incredibly cheap.

Dra. Camacho is my eye doctor. I have cataracts also. Last year when I went in I was quoted 55,000 pesos per eye. Mind you this is for the most expensive type of lens, no glasses needed after surgery. Everyone's eyes are different so your case might be different. As a side note I also have had a detached retina, about 60 years ago, there would be no problem with having the surgery.

Just started using Felipe recently on the recommendation of a friend and I have to say I also agree. He's been working on my 2000 Ford Ranger and 2020 Honda BRV.

What, you think tattoo artists here work out of some back alley? I've gotten tattoos from the shop recommended above and can say he's as clean as any NOB.

You can't go wrong with Sergio. He has an ad in the Ojo del Lago.

There is a hardware store next to the lumber store across from Soriana. I've taken tools there before to be fixed. I believe they send them to Guadlajara.

If you have IMSS coverage you can get the Abdala vaccine at the clinic for free. Do your own research to see if it would be right for you. My wife and I got ours plus the flu shot.

There is also a refill station in Ixtlahuacan. First street past the gas station (old one) on the lateral on the corner.

Granted, but also at a premium price. Who is paying for the repair?

Try entering upholsterer in the search space. There have been many threads over the years on this very subject.

Be aware that there is a delay in receiving your passport. My wife sent in her renewal in January and it took 9 weeks. From reports in the U.S. it can take up to 3 months. Even if you pay the extra processing fee for expedited delivery it could still be 6 weeks.

It took about 4 weeks for mine to come back...
FYI: The FedEx office in Ajijic does not sell the return labels... I used I mail and that worked...
It took 9 weeks for my wife's to come in. If you are in a hurry look into paying the extra fee for expedited service.

+1 My go to place for chicken. Never been disappointed. Don't know where they get their chicken from but they always seem to be larger than elsewhere.

And where did you buy this miracle dream cooker?
Got it from Amazon Mx. I got the Instant Vortex Plus 6. Cosori is also a good brand, also from Amazon.

Recently bought a new air fryer and I must say that I've fallen in love. I've been using it almost every night and quite a few mornings. So far I've done fish, shrimp, chicken, and breakfast sandwiches. The recipes are simple, quick and economical as well as healthy. You use very little oil, I use avocado oil also. There are hundreds of recipes on YouTube, I've barely scratched the surface.
The chicken that I've prepared has the crunchiest skin and the juiciest meat that I've ever had. I made coconut shrimp the other night and it cost me 39p for enough shrimp for my wife and I. I could go on and on but I think you can see how excited I've gotten. I've gone from fixing a meal maybe twice a month to almost every night. Any other converts out there?

Total bust for me there..... limited choices if you need white and I have no option.
Anyone have Guad recommendations? Thinking of Home Depot but don't want to make a trip for nothing. And yes, I will get to Amazon and MercadoLibre later today with luck tho' I'd kind of like to talk to a real person before making a decision!
I'm assuming you did check upstairs at the store in Riberas? We also checked out Home Depot before we bought our fans and ended up getting them at Illumina y Decora. They had at least 2 or 3 different styles in white at the time. Also don't always go by what they have on display as light kits and remotes can be added.
