  1. I have a hundred or so books. Some are fiction and some are books on different religious subjects. They would be free for the taking. Is there is anyone who might want them?
  2. They are at the seafood restaurants on the lakeside just before SJC tonight until fairly late
  3. My service is UNET. They are on Matamoros Norte #10 in Joco. The young girl at the desk speaks some english. They had a special when I joined so there was no installation charge. I have two services....one gives 30 megas and one gives 20 megas. They now offer a 30% off yearly cost if you pay in advance...I pay monthly. The do not offer a telephone service but they do offer TV. They have been very responsive t6o any problems....SO FAR.
  4. I asked for a refund from them because I was able to get a next day installation of a high speed new service in Jocotepec in stead of waiting for more months for them to show up. I was promised a check the following week and due to the New year's season it wasn't provided as promised. I went in the next week and got the same response. On the third attempt...I was offered cash instead of a check and felt that was a better offer. They were polite at all times and a bit confused but I did receive my money back with no hassle.
  5. The large boat that docked at the Jocotepec pier is no longer there.
  6. We have room for a person to share a P.O. box at Ishop. You must get very little mail and pick up what you get weekly. 14 months for $80.00 us in Mexican pesos.

  8. Some thoughtful person put two kittens into my garage. One is white with blue eyes and the other is orange. I have a full house of dogs and a snowshoe cat. While I find out how to unload these two....and that is question one, what do I feed them and that is question two. I have an extra litter box and some old towels for them to keep warm with. Your helpful advice is most welcome.
  9. It is very hot in the summer. A very clean city. English is not usually heard but many people can respond to you. Home prices and rentals much lower than here. The vulcan throws a lot of dust on it's "puff" days.
  10. If I cancel....does anyone know how long I have to wait to get my deposit back? I paid in cash.

  13. you will be asked if you are a US citizen at the midpoint on the bridge to Pharr . Then you will stop at the gates that have cameras....you will be asked by a US customs officer for your US passport. No other paperwork has ever been asked of us.
  14. My wife is on oxygen machines 16 hours a day because of a medicine that should not have been used on her. Her long term prognosis is death within 2 or three years. Dra T is a charming woman but not a great doctora.
  15. Credit cards were not a problem. Checking and save ings were hit but are now up and functioning
  16. At this time...access to checking accounts and or deposits is unavailable. They are attempting to get rebooted. Social Security direct deposits may or may not show on your accounts.
