What is wrong with giving a person in a wheel chair a job? They have to eat too. I applaud Wal-Mart for not discriminating.4 points

That young man has been working there for several months and is one of their better cashiers, friendly and efficient.3 points

That was a cruel thing to do. They are very social and live in family groups, sharing a burrow with up to 7 other skunks. They are harmless little creatures. There was no need to displace it from its habitat.3 points

You are NOT the Comeback Kid, not by a longshot.... and this fetish of yours with me being someone else is tired. Instead of spending all your spare time being a mushy dill pickle lover and **it disturber, move on. No one cares.2 points

The origin of the problem was the OP's inability to read Spanish, even though he recognized the relationship of the charge to a medical procedure which had just been done. It would have helped if he had asked at the source of the treatment, or even asked someone to tell him that he was charged by "Head and Neck Clinnic". Jumping to conclusions is often ill advised.2 points

Just be grateful that Pedro is not showing pictures of how to remove the scent glands, skin and clean the carcass, then roast over a Weber grill! Hmmmm, varmint cooking 101.2 points

0 It is not kind to move it to some new territory. Those little skunks have been around my place for years. 2 of them hide out behind a potted plant at night and run upon the terrace to grab a piece of dog kibble and then rush back down to chew it up, where I can hear them chattering away to each other. They have never sprayed. It's only their defense mechanism if they feel threatened. Don't threaten them and they don't spray.2 points

Yes, extending your Temporal also extends the TIP 'for the length of the Temporal' (which *can* be for up to 3 more years if you wish) BUT you are right that you must inform Aduana of this. If doing it (renewal) yourself you can go to Aduana in the GDL airport. I've not heard of a 'form' for this purpose but that doesn't mean that one doesn't exist. Personally I'd give Chapala attorney Spencer McMullen's office a call and ask him, or shoot him an email at chapalalegal at gmail dot com1 point

Phil, as you know, I live where you live. We did not have internet and we were unable to make any calls from our landline. I called 800123222 and reported the problem immediately. They told me it was scheduled service and it would take several hours before it was completed. I asked them why didn't they alert anyone about this as they have our cell numbers and some people have an online account. The response was "silence" from them. The good news - we have total service today. Maybe not tomorrow...!1 point

That method ended a long time (years) ago. All transactions are handled by Mercadopago. There is no direct contact information for the vendor until the sale is completed. Even then most don't provide phone numbers.1 point

I'm thinking if you include a picture of enjoying a cool drink at the side of the lake with festivities they might say you need to report monthly Although it would be a funny response. Maybe include a bar bill for them saying the bar wants proof they are Swiss bothering their customer. Possibly if there's a Swiss consulate or embassy they'd have a shorter and cheaper route where they handle the leg between Mexico and Switzerland.1 point

I do not understand why it is a subject for comment or discussion. I guess Pedro is having a slow day, plus a stupid heading to wit1 point

Ditto. Leave Chapala by 6am and you should arrive at bridge II in daylight. Toll road between Monterrey and Nuevo Laredo no problems for a long time. I did see guardia national in September going both ways.1 point

And that young man is single and took his neice as a baby and has raised her while in a wheel chair ever since. She is 15 now. I wonder how many of us would do that. I have utmost respect for him and he always has a smile on his face.1 point

If you leave early in the morning you'll have no problem getting to Laredo well before dark. So long as there are no obstacles you should be on Bridge II in under 11 hours. The same trip in December gets a little more dicey with the short days and the big mountains in Saltillo but not so much now. Enjoy the drive. It's actually quite pretty or at least better than some of the interstates in the US.1 point

Learn some originality. Also, try to compare what's about to come out of your mouth with the topic at hand. Oh, wait, that's part of learning to comprehend.1 point

Actually, I thought the same so I googled. Drano is (apparently) safe for septic tanks and pvc pipes.1 point

I've had CAT,MRI and X-ray done at SAT. My latest was an MRI of my entire spine for $5020p. It's great not having to go to Guadalajara any more for these. There are several threads on here answering your question.1 point

The San Antonio Hospital does CAT and MRI... and others...scroll down to imaging. San Antonio de Chapala Hospital | Medical Services (hospitalsanantonio.com.mx) also... the Riberas Medical Center may have the facilities but their website does not clarify what is available... Tuesday nights at La Bodega in late 2004 was the place to be. Dewayne and his crew of Ron Baker on the guitar (one of the best), Alan in his fatigues on the drums, Rick Ungar taking time off from his day jobs on the harmonica and Carol Bedford who regularly joined in. There were probably others that dropped by during his time at La Bodega but we're talking a long time ago and memories fade. Dewayne really couldn't sing very well but he was the central character/entertainer of a group that kept lots people coming back every week. The chemistry was magical and somehow we did line dances on the small space on the upper level.1 point

Let me make a dire prediction. The developer will walk away from the project as the cost of the proposed changes are uneconomic and and in my opinion stupid. So the association may have won the battle but will be left with another ugly monument. Let them continue to build out the project with some financial compensation to La Foresta HOA I do not have a answer on how best to avoid these situations from getting started. Another example of irregularities is what the Raquet Club is fighting a new development above the club. I am sure others can identify questionable projects in their area's1 point

Yet while Dra Gabriela was on vacation in Europe she entrusted her patients to Dra Carla. They both are are worth every peso they charge and both are excellent and the "trying to send him to a specialty private clinic" comment without context is out of line imo. No, better you don't give your version of the context, that would just make it worse since she doesn't have time to explain why she did whatever, but I'm confident it was for a good reason. She certainly would not gain anything for making such a recommendation other that trying to provide the best care for the patient. GP's are grossly underpaid here1 point
