  1. Shame… both he and Desantis should face criminal charges…..for reckless endangerment of human life…leading to the deaths of thousands who mistakenly listened to their disastrous policies .

  2. Jim Bowie….I’m glad you find.my post humorous…..it is so easy to be cavalier when you hide behind some cute “ nom de plume “ perhaps you might feel a little different if a close friend, family member , or a child died gasping for air on a ventilator due to the way these governors ignored common sense science.

  6. When you buy insurance, just remember that at our advanced age almost everything could be construed as a "pre existing condition" and the insurance will not cover it, as I just found out. So you might end up paying out of pocket AND paying an insurance premium every year. Is it worth it?

  7. A sweet grandmother telephoned St. Joseph's Hospital. She timidly asked, "Is it possible to speak to someone who can tell me how a patient is doing?" The operator said, "I'll be glad to help, dear. What's the name and room number of the patient?" The grandmother in her weak, tremulous voice said, Norma Findlay, Room 302." The operator replied, "Let me put you on hold while I check with the nurse's station for that room." After a few minutes, the operator returned to the phone and said, "I have good news. Her nurse just told me that Norma is doing well. Her blood pressure is fine; her blood work just came back normal and her Physician, Dr. Cohen, has scheduled her to be discharged tomorrow." The grandmother said, "Thank you. That's wonderful. I was so worried. God bless you for the good News." The operator replied, "You're more than welcome. Is Norma your daughter?" The grandmother said, "No, I'm Norma Findlay in Room 302. No one tells me shit."

  10. Like Bowie cares. Now that he's posted "funnies" comparing vaccines and mask wearing to the genocide of 6 miillion and transgender people, what's next? Some "funny" about children with Covid in ICU wards?

  11. I had not gone to the ajijicweather.com weather site for a while, but did so just now. WOW! Nice enhancements. The 'old' one will be around for a while it says. Does anyone know just *where* the new weather station is located and who might *own* it. Congratulations and thanks to whomever!

  21. Yes you are correct. I live in an all Mexican neighborhood, I believe I am now the only non Mexican living in the Cascada/Santa Maria area. There used to be one other non Mexican , but it looks she moved back up North. So this is my story. I have been living in this area for over 4 years now. Every one knows my name even know in most cases I have no idea who they are. I do all my shopping and eating out locally. Now about 2 years ago I was really sick, I called the girl that works at the Taco stand just down the road. She came took one look and then called her husband. He came then called a doctor who arrived within a half hour. He prescribe and intravenous drip. They called another friend who could set it (they strung a rope between my closet and the window to support it). Then they and there 2 young children spent the entire night (sleeping on the floor) to ensure I would be alright. (total cost about 500 Pesos). So to make a long story short, I learned that they both had to drop out of the Preparatorio because she got pregnant. I made all the arrangements so that they could attend a special program in order to get their diplomas. I then arranged a tutor for the girl for one year, Monday to Friday, 2 hours each in order for her to be able to take the entry exam for the teachers school in Atequiza. She was late getting her papers so she will now take her exam in February of next year. But not to lose a year she enrolled in a Nursing school. One day a week for 2 years. I made arrangements for her husband to take electronic classes in Guadalajara every Saturday for 2 years. So why do I tell you this is because I now know that I will spend the rest of my life in my own home surrounded by people that I know and love. They used to all sleep on one large mattress with a curtain as a door. I gave them one of my apartments (the title is in her name) and made out a will benefitting them. Like wise, I have a living will that clearly spells out that a) only give me pain medication as it goes and b) give my remains for medical use. On a final note, yes I speak Spanish, but if your willing to go the extra mile you will find similar support. Mexican are the most caring people I have ever encountered. Most care givers do not have any diplomas, they just know how to care.☺️

  23. Why not choose where you would like each of these procedures done and ask them for current costs? Ask you primary care physician where they would recommend for each. There are many different heart procedures, and cancer treatments/surgeries. Prices will vary greatly depending on the doctor & hospital. Asking people here what they paid depending on when they had it done might have no relevance today or when you might need major medical treatment or the hospital you choose.
