My kids passed Laredo bridge II this morning at 7AM and arrived here at 6:15. Green light in customs, absolutely no problems in Laredo other than beggars at the customs exit. . Did not see any police escorts or anything like that.

If you are receiving dish USA then you are receiving a technically illegal signal. That is why you pay with and account registered to a US address. Dish USA has no authorization to broadcast signals to Mexico. The channels they broadcast have not authorized them to sell their programs to Mexico. Dish México, S. de R. L. de C.V. (In Mexico: Alcanzca) is a Mexican-owned company that operates a subscription satellite television service in Mexico nationwide. It is very different than Dish USA. The channels offered in Mexico are mostly Mexican channels. You won't see ABC NBC CBS etc. You will see their small red satellite dishes on some houses. There was nothing on the Facebook link that I could find about pricing. In general, I think it's not so much about the price but the honesty of the guys putting it in the tank. Some are charlatans. We all have our favourites but mine is Javier with Los Altoss. I call him and he or one of his sons arrives promptly. There is always a Los Altoss truck hanging about my street usually parked in the shade with the driver snoozing. I NEVER use him because he's a cheat.

Get yourself a weber like this at Soriana and use real carbon. Brought this one with us and have used it for almost 30 years with a few minor repairs I've had done here.

Here's an update on getting my screen repaired. Took my Samsung Galaxy to "Fix Mobile" a block down from the Chapala bus station on Calle Miguel Martínez (phone 33 2454 1857). Brought it in at 10:30am and it was ready by 4pm. A little hole in the wall store, but they did a good job. S&F Telcel across from the Ajijic Telmex office could do it, but it would not be ready until late tomorrow. Stopped at Telcel in Centro Luguna to inquire and they DO repair certain phones. But not Samsung. I did not find out which they did repair. So, there you go. Problem solved. Thanks to everyone for playing.

Why don’t you call one or more of the propane trucks and ask.. I don’t think anyone on this board sells propane...

According to the GR, the people getting the Sinovac vaccine were told, after they stood in line for XX. hours, that they couldn't be vaccinated if they were allergic to penicillin - which I am. My research indicates this is not the case for most other vaccines. I don't know if this is Sinovac only, some Chinese vaccines only or if the nice volunteers were misinformed. So I am being cautious.

For some reason, when a person says they won't join Facebook, everyone seems to assume it because they don't want their personal information out there. My reasons for not subscribing to Facebook are social, moral, and political. So signing up with a fake name has nothing to do with it.

People should respect that choice.

I am one of the hesitants. I'm not going to go into my reasons here, but they're many and as valid as those you have that make you pro-shot. If you have a compromised immune system, are obese, or have other health issues, I absolutely understand the choice to take the shot and would probably do the same; however, I AM relatively young (for here! lol), take my health seriously by diet and exercise, and go maskless as often as I can to take in the fresh air. So far, I've been as healthy as a horse (but thankfully, not the size of one!) I honestly believe that staying shuttered indoors is the worst thing we can do to ourselves, but JMHO.

Precious and Abby have both boarded at Furry Friends. I was impressed with the clean and secure room. The dogs are walked and I had them groomed the day they were to come home. I have nothing but praise for their grooming and boarding.

It seems to vary by the day and who you get the service from. Also some folks quote that they have obtained at "X" price but did not figure in the added tax..Then there other's who get cheated and the price bears no resemblance to the actual price
