  1. Why would anyone listen to these $%&/()s? They post click-bait nonsense daily on YouTube. They do it to make money, most of their "advice" is crap.

  8. You need to take the 2 plates & your tarjeta de circulación, a personal identification original and copy to a recaudadora and tell them you need to "baja por perdida total" It is a very simple process. In Chapala the Recaudadora is where you paid your registration renewal on Calle Degollado # 217

  11. The Mexican government does not have the money to buy the vaccine for everyone of its citizens, let alone foreigners. That is why AMLO encourages private buying and administering. Also, none of those who came from the US to Mexico came blind and deaf, as the US has made it perfectly clear that government provided health services will never be provided in any country except the US. No one should be a bit surprised or disappointed by that on this "free" vaccine. If that was a deal breaker, you should have stayed home. Look in the mirror if you want to complain and cry.

  13. There is a Flexi store in Chapala and Ajijic owned by the same couple. Flexi boots and shoes are a Mexican brand and yes they have various styles of leather boots. If they're not in stock they will order them for you.

  15. Always going to be some hostile reactions.....however most in FL understand that winter tourism / seasonal residents are a big chunk of their economy. And vaccinated people are both freer and safer to have running around spending $$........not to mention not taking up hospital beds. On balance, one of the few things the FL governor has done that I can agree with.

What is it with a lot of people that can't figure out that personal contact is way better and easier than fooling around with the impersonal methods. The OP would have had her answer right away by[gasp!] using her phone.-SNORK! pedro kertesz

  21. The following is the response I received from the U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara. End of story. I wonder if the U.S. government plans on stopping collecting my taxes while I live overseas? Dear XXXXX, The United States Government does not plan to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to private U.S. citizens overseas. Please follow host country developments and guidelines for COVID-19 vaccination. If you wish to be vaccinated in the U.S. please contact your doctor in the United States for information. 22. Does that mean the U.S. government should follow their example? If it had we would still be waiting for a Covid vaccine.
