  1. Yes why would anyone remove the old sticker? Much more fun to have 10 years worth of stickers on your windshield.

  2. Put your cursor over your name at the top of the page and a box will open... drag your cursor into the box and scroll all the way to the bottom and click on "salir". And for happyjillin... if your leave the account open and don't log out, if you are using a credit card, it can be hacked and used. That goes for ANY online account where credit card information is imbedded.

  3. An exercise for people who are out of shape: Begin with a five-pound potato bag in each hand. Extend your arms straight out from your sides, hold them there for a full minute, and then relax. After a few weeks, move up to ten-pound potato bags. Then try 50-pound potato bags, and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-pound potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. Once you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.

  4. I'm out of the house right now but my employee just called and sent a photo. Looks like a truck hit the pole at the NE corner of Independencia and Pedro Moreno. Evidently the whole block is down...pole is at 45 degree angle over street. CALL CFE everyone! Chilly times for no heaters.

  6. Guess what! I got into the site and it shows me owning the property but no $ amounts. When I go to print a statement it says. "Estados de cuenta no encontrado" Oh joy! maybe I do not owe any taxes this year?

  10. At Salud Digna in GDL a PCR test is $950 an antigen test is $250 Molecular tests detect the tiniest bits of genetic code specific to SARS-CoV-2 NAAT is "nucleic acid amplification test" PCR is polymerase chain reaction Nucleic Acid Amplification Test is an umbrella term for any DNA test that involves an amplification step. Notice that the inclusion of amplification in the definition means that any NAAT necessarily involves some kind of PCR procedure, but does not imply that the PCR step is where the test happens. Both involve a laboratory with the specific equipment and a supply of reagents, and a 5-6 hour process. It is extremely doubtful any laboratory lakeside would have that capability. So any PCR test done here would require them to send the samples to a lab in GDL.

  12. What part of YMMV don't you understand Rick? It's what I do and was recommended to do. I have no regrets. If big corporations and the government can get hacked, I will continue to assume that they started small and honed their skills on ordinary regular people... like me. I'm just not willing to let down my guard to let them try. YMMV.

  13. Ferret I know/presume that this might be construed as argumentative.... and maybe it is! But, what applied to cars and surely to the Internet many, many, many years ago is 99% irrelevant today. And you more than suggested to pedro that he should do something or suffer the consequences. I just don't believe that is good advice.... or at least not for the reason stated and maybe shouldn't be given as fact. The good news is that it surely isn't going to hurt to follow your recommendation but....

  15. Safe from physical harm from bad players, not from seaworthiness of the ferry itself. My son wanted to cross into Mexico from AZ in his van a few years back, and the border agent told him to stay out of that area, that it was way too dangerous to take the ferry. He would not even allow him into Mexico, told him to enter through CA. This time he's on a motorcycle.

  21. In the mid 1980's Brandy was by far the most popular spirits drink in Mexico. Sometimes mixed with a soft drink, such as Coca Cola. The Mexican brand of choice was Presidente. Which I believe is still the highest exported brandy in the world. With their advertising at the time, it was promoted as a classy drink, a great many people bought, or were gifted, brandy snifters. Here is an archive article from the New York Times about the remarkable history behind this company. Open with their free Times Machine. https://www.nytimes.com/1984/09/05/garden/the-national-drink-in-mexico-brandy.html
