I got a surprise call from the VA, here in Texas, with appointments for my Covid vaccinations; This Friday, and again in four weeks.

An exercise for people who are out of shape: Begin with a five-pound potato bag in each hand. Extend your arms straight out from your sides, hold them there for a full minute, and then relax. After a few weeks, move up to ten-pound potato bags. Then try 50-pound potato bags, and eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-pound potato bag in each hand and hold your arms straight for more than a full minute. Once you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each bag.

Since the last thread became a pissing contest about another restaurant , I'd like to report on the named restaurant! The special was mussels marinara which had an exceptional well cooked sauce and a multitude of mussels. I ordered light heat and wife ordered no heat and both were perfect as ordered. The new owner waiter was affable. Give it a chance , try them!

Its going to be a while if we only have 100,000 doses for all Jalisco for the next month. We will have to see if private clinics will be able to get the vaccine in meaningful numbers. I am only 67 so I expect Artsnob to be able to get the vaccine way before I will as he is much older than I am. Everybody needs to stay calm and see what happens. I hope that private clinics will help speed things up but we don't know. Breath deep and stay calm is my suggestion.

The best I could get in Seattle were KN-95 masks. The N-95 masts are for hospital workers and doctors only. Or so I understand.

I looked for years; never saw it here. Online is your best bet. But you might have to try a couple of brands. I have some that cost a lot and has no taste.

I spent years doing it wrong over and over no matter who I hired. I finally learned if you want it to last you put down the five year roof stuff than a layer of fiberglass than another layer of five year roof stuff. The fiberglass matting (or whatever it is) keeps it from cracking and makes the coating stable. Oh yea before they put down the first layer of liquid they removed all the loose roofing material. Yes it more expensive but it works.

So they will be the guinea pigs and if old people die in far away poor comunities that will be less poor old people, nice. Meanwile I will be looking to buy something else here when it is available..

Isn't it wonderful that you have the need to make light of what effects we who are extremely mobility disabled. You, no doubt, can revel in your ability to climb stairs which some of us are not able to do anymore.

I used the WhatsApp contact procedure twice last summer, then again in November. Cancelling my service following the WhatsApp procedure was in November. I originally got directions on using the procedure from a notice on the gate at the Telmex office. Maybe they changed the procedure and have a notice of their new procedure on their gate at the office. Good luck.
