  1. 1. With 6 dogs and 3 cats, I don't have rats at my house....even though I have a hay room, a feed room and a tack room....places rats tend to love. 2. One little drive by??? Dear girl, I wasn't driving AND I have been riding up that trail for over 10 years. I've seen the many changes that area has gone through. You are just the latest.

  2. It is very easy to change a battery, all you need to be careful of is that you get the polarity right, but even if you don’t most vehicles especially newer ones are protected against reverse polarity. If the alternator is easily accessible it’s very easy to change, it would be hard to screw that up. But why bother Auto Zone will change the battery for free, and the cost of labor is so cheap why bother changing an alternator yourself.

  3. As soon as a vaccine is announced and made available, the masses will discard their masks, hug each other, open bars and restaurants, and declare that the virus will be killed. The infection rate will soar, hundreds of thousands will die, and the economy will tank even further; perhaps beyond any hope of recovery. Then, really bad things will happen. 🤯

  8. Please contact me, we have been working on this issue for months and need all the support we can get. The location of this shelter is completely illegal and an affront to all citizens who have lost their right to live peacefully. Although the municipality says they wikl move the shelter and we have provided other suitable options they have done nothing. We all love dogs but the placement of this shelter is wrong.

  10. So you are suggesting that all the companies in phase three trials are lying? And they don't employ scientists? And If I believe their reports filed with the CDC, among others I am listening to the wrong people? That's some conspiracy theory..... And at least 2 companies have pledged to sell the vaccine at cost... The others prices are as low as $10 per dose. (Johnson & Johnson) NBC Sept 5 reports: U.S. health officials expect to know whether at least one of the three potential vaccines from Moderna, Pfizer and AstraZeneca in late-stage testing works by the end of the year or sooner. Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said Thursday the company could have results from its late-stage coronavirus vaccine trial as early as October. ( is he lying to help his bottom line?) The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is currently asking states to expedite the approval process for medical supply company McKesson so it can set up coronavirus vaccination sites across the U.S. by Nov. 1. The agency said states may need to waive some licensing and permit requirements that could bog down the process. The vaccine would be distributed in four phases, with health-care workers, the elderly and people with underlying health conditions getting vaccinated first. Essential workers, teachers and people in homeless shelters as well as people in prisons would be next on the list, followed by children and young adults.

  11. You are listening to the wrong people. The companies of course are only looking at their bottom line where as scientists and health workers should not have such an agenda.

  12. Pima County, so maybe all counties, will accept photos of the ballot and affidavit. I've just voted, taken photos, emailed them in and received a receipt. Go for it absentee voters - please!

  13. Garbage... Disconnecting the battery for a short time will do nothing other than you have to reset the clock.. if you have the battery disconnected for several hours you may have to drive the vehicle a few miles for the ECU to relearn the parameters..

  14. The job of changing out a static alternator with the battery cable(s) off is not something that is going to bring other "electrical" issues with it. And millions of batteries get removed/changed out daily with no real need for concern assuming the person doing it has ANY experience at all. More likely to hurt your back than anything else... especially for us ole'uns.

  15. I have a scanner. I emailed the Arizona voting people and they repliied; "We are aware that the printing is very small, but unfortunately the ballots were formatted by the Division of Elections to fit on an 8 x 11 piece of paper and that isn’t something our office has any authority to change when sending them out. We’ll accept them however you choose to return them, even if it ends up being 5-6 pages."

  17. I am sorry for my ignorance as I have just moved here but what is the LCS. I used to vote absentee when I lived in Oregon and it was a super simple process. I would download my ballot and envelope. Fill it out and seal it and take it to the American Cousulate in Nuevo Vallarta and it would be sent to Oregon for me. Now my permanent residence is in Texas and it is a much more difficult and convoluted process. I will be calling my county's election office for guidance but I need to know what the LCS is and how they transfer the ballots to the United States. Thanks for any help. Please note, In this time of political discord in the United States I am not making any political statements here I am just stating what my history of voting was and what challenges I have today.

  18. Chapala Tree Service has been treating our palms for the past 2 years, once every 90 days. Two of the palms are reachable by tall ladders and they place the treatment within the crown (not a spray). The tallest palm they treat via topical granules at base, which is not as effective but worth a shot. None of the treatments are guaranteed, but it is all that is currently available.

  19. Are you talking about a paper ballot? AZ is one of the states that allows you to return your ballot electronically. Call the County Election Official and see if your neighbor can still receive the ballot by email. Explain the situation. Then the ballot will be easier to read. The ONLY accurate resource for this type of question is the County Election Official.

  20. From doing some reading you might be SOL (shit outta luck) unless you can find a fumigator that can spray the crown of the palm. By the time you can see evidence of infestation it's too late and cutting down is the only option.

  21. My point was if they can read the enlarged copy of the ballot with the original next to it they should be able to fill out the original. Good luck again.

  22. Do not be lulled into submission. The mayor has no intention of doing anything. He refuses to meet and the director of ecology does nothing. We need to stand up for our rights together. Please if you want change we need to act together to let the mayor know we are tax paying citizens who have rights.

  27. Cross-Posted This is a question that has 1,000 lives doesn't it. If I remember correctly.... this is just me saying this delicately.... a US Notary can only notarize something WHERE their 'license' is valid. There are no valid US licenses in Mexico EXCEPT at the consulate. There may be a way to do it 'on line' in some/all states. See https://youtu.be/5GeR8XTWR3M

  30. There are 3 major credit bureaus in the USA. Experian and Trans Union traditionally have had the strongest databases. Most scores you will see are generated by the individual credit bureaus information and a series of secret algorithms sold by Fair Isaac and company. Known as FICO scores. FICO has more than 50 different versions of your score that it sends to lenders. The score may change, depending on what company asks and what was important to that company in calculating your score Some are designed for mortgage lenders, some for auto lenders, some for credit card companies, etc Credit Karma, and other free websites have contracts with Trans Union and Equifax. The biggest and traditionally the most accurate, Experian is not included. Credit card companies display the bureau and type of score they use for credit decisions. Your ABC bank's ccard free score might how say 749 and your DEF bank might show a score of 695 at the same moment. Why because they have chosen a different "credit model" and or bureau for their decisions. Also your score can change from one day to the next because your lenders report their information one day a month. I remember a customer walking in proudly displaying a printout of a 730 score that was a week old. When I ran their credit the score was well under 700 because their credit balances had increased and there was a new late payment just reported.

  32. Do you have a US credit card? All of ours at our online accounts have a clickable Check Your Credit Score. When you do that it takes you to a screen that shows the score AND lets you click on several other options. I went to mine at Chase just now and it showed all my financial accounts/banks, etc. I could look whether there were negative remarks by any creditor. Said I could report discrepancies, etc. Also register ID theft.

  33. You need to be using a US IP address to sign up for Credit Karma after you have the account you can access from anywhere. To access your one time a year US free credit report you will need a US IP address as well. You can access your Mexican credit bureau report free once a year also. You will need to have your last credit card statement https://www.burodecredito.com.mx/

  34. Well, I believe that may apply to the IP address of the application, I log-in weekly without a VPN. It also may mean listing your home address as in Mexico? It costs nothing to try.

  37. As you (will) see, there will be some who recommend a certain Dentist(a) and others who say no to that person. That's generally because no one Dentist is 100% perfect every day for every person who walks in. I say all of this to suggest that there ARE two Dentists who almost ALWAYS get good reviews in this town. One is Dr. Haro's office and the other is Dr. Barragan's office. Both of them a just a bit more expensive.... but of course NOTHING like US pricing.... but they consistently get good/rave reviews no matter what the work being done. IMO a newbie in town with a current problem would best be served by going to one of these offices. Probably neither of them can see a patient the 'next day' but for an emergency they would probably make an exception. Good luck!

  39. Not a dog in this fight, but sometimes here folks that maybe had a bad experience years ago want to regurgitate it over and over. Times change!. Over my 12 years here I have had some great meals there and maybe 1 or 2 mediocre. I take Carnivore at his word of his recent experience. In this difficult situation, why not give them a second chance?

  40. Since nobody actually responded to the opening post we decided to update our own opinion. Having had the opportunity to experience Chinatown eateries in Toronto, Vancouver, Victoria, Montreal, New York and Boston* (*the very best) we feel that we know and appreciate Chinese food. We ordered for delivery last week. They close at 7:00p.m. and we were told that we would have our order delivered just before 7:00p.m. We ordered 2 orders of Egg-Rolls; an order of their "House" Lo-Mein; an order of their "House" Egg Foo Young and an order of their Moo Goo Guy Pan. Total Price:$560.00MN - Suggested tip for driver $30.00MN (Ridiculous!). Our order arrived at 6:55p.m. Everything was well packaged and hot. (Sides of Hot Mustard, Plum Sauce, Chili Sauce) As there were only two of us there was sufficient of everything for a full meal the following day. The best food and value of all that we have had delivered during the "shut down". That includes: Blue Rose, Tepetate Pian Thai and Bruno's. (We also liked all three of the other restaurants but we now, definitely feel that some of the recent Min Wah posts are "totally suspect"!!) Oh yes, we tipped the driver appropriately! The order of Egg Foo Young (which is the best we've ever eaten) in the delivery container was still appropriately "hot" 45 minutes after delivery!

  41. Again, be careful thinking you can just throw in a new battery and alternator. It has to be done in a certain way to avoid burning out the ECU computer.
