  3. You can cancel your TIP at the Chicago, and certain others, consulate. Contact them for the SPECIFIC DATES that they will cancel permits. You will have to get the car to the consulate.

  4. As usual RV you are wrong. The subject of cancelling a TIP, other than at the border, has been covered before, it can be done by mail. A good lawyer or your local Mexican Consulate can help. RV, a registered non resident of Canada can drive a Mexican plated car in Canada for up to 6 months, just as any other tourist can. I am tired of seeing your comments on Canadian law.

  7. We felt it in Morelia's historic center--more than anything, it made my ceiling lamps sway widely back and forth, and some molinillos that I have hanging in the kitchen. Luisa and I went out to the street and there were some people who had come out there when the quake happened, but pretty soon we all went back inside. In Mexico City, friends report that it was very strong and fairly long, making buildings sway and scaring the pants off people. One friend reported that she had hurried outside and all her neighbors saw her in her underpants. Another friend in the northern part of the city reports that it was VERY strong there. In Oaxaca, friends in Oaxaca City say that it was terribly strong and extremely frightening. So far the people I know there are reporting in little by little that they are well other than the fright. The proliferation of hilarious memes about the earthquake/Covid-19 connection make the earthquake's occurrence almost worth while. Almost.

  10. I would recommend Dr. Ernesto Gibau Romo, who is associated with Hospital San Antonio. My husband has advanced Parkinson's and saw another doctor at lakeside. Dr. Romo was so kind and never spoke down to my husband, he came from behind the desk and talked with my husband. He looked at the numerous test results that I brought and determined not to do anymore tests. He changed some meds and walked us to the car. On another visit, he hugged him when we came in and adjusted meds. He has made a positive impact in my husband's life. He is concerned with the quality of my husband's life and not longevity so much. His contact info is 3813 3040 044 333 440 1178 or call SA Hospital

  12. Gringohombre, I have no idea where your friends are getting their liquor, but I seriously doubt it is from the cartel. Most of the small abarrote stores that sold liquor before Covid still sell liquor today, just ask. It is all still behind that curtain. Many negocios are selling it legally and openly like Pistaches liquor store opposite the Palacio Municipal, next to the Patio restaurant in Chapala. Now, within recently even Oxxo has resumed their liquor sells. Liquor or beer was never hard to find, but if your only references are La Paz and Wal-Mart, you may have not been in the know.....

  19. They have never developed a vaccine by for other coronavirus and this one is mutating fast, so don't bet money on a vaccine ever being found. Developing a natural immunity after being exposed to it like with other viruses appears to be doubtful.

  20. The Vaccines mentioned are all mRNA based..The drug companies have worked on these mRNA vaccines for various diseases for MANY YEARS without any mRNA vaccine being successful. There are several other Pharma's that are utilizing DNA based products or other methods..To date NONE have shown lasting effectiveness or long term human tolerance...So much $$$$ is on the table for the successful candidate that one has to be careful of the publicity being spouted on a daily basis...None are near demonstrating human viability..Oxford was just caught injecting the wrong dosage level of their vaccine in a large # of their human test subjects...A lot of pharma bullshit being flouted..

  21. There are a number of possible vaccines in the pipeline. Oxford sounds especially promising but I think the Aussies have one as well plus others all over the world. The one problem is determining the length and consistency of the immunity. If it is only 6 months, is it worth vaccinating millions of people? Will there be a better vaccine if we are patient? The ONLY way to tell for sure is time and that means at least a year after human trials start. A safe, working vaccine in October is totally unrealistic IMHO.

  22. Just had this done by my contractor amigo Rogy Who I first used for major reno when we bought the house in 2006. There is a thread on here with various stages of this latest project.

  23. I doubt it. This virus attacks blood vessels and it is already mutating. People who tested positive for the virus lose immunity a few months later. This might be our Andromeda Strain.

  24. What you need is a dual band access point not a router. If you buy a router to get better WIFI than the ILOX modems look in the software to turn the router off and that creates an access point. Not doing this creates more overhead and can possibly slow down things. When you use an access point there is no performance hit. Also turn off the WIFI on the ILOX modem. On the four port unit it is a button on the right side. WIFI light will go out on front of unit. This cuts down on the number of WIFI channels in use. Also if you live in a WIFI crowded area which are most places here switch to the 5.0 band from the 2.4. With ILOX 300 I only get 80 on the 2.4 band while I get over 150 on the 5.0 band. If you don't believe in overcrowded WIFI well for example I can see 24 different modems from my house. None other than my unit are using the 5.0 band.

  25. Ubiquiti Unifi system is your best option. Run cables from your switch to a couple of remote points and install dual band Unifi access points at each. You run a management program to configure them They can mesh connect too and your devices can seamlessly roam. Very popular in the Raquet Club.

  29. If there is not a ban on hard liquor, why are all the isles in all the major retailers blocked and taped off...so the people you mentioned are not selling it LEGALLY. Walmart and large legal retailers such as Paz are not going to give up massive sales and profits unless forced to by the government! Just look at US history and the proahibition in the 30's...Al Capone and all the gangsters then made a killing...just like the cartels now. Wake up!
