  1. I assume you are new to the area and suggest you save some stress and money with a one year or two rental. Borrowing money in MX is nothing like your mothers mortgage.

  2. That´´s right …... "Intolerance towards our religions (???) and heritage" lest we forget that God created America only for Americans…….How dare they??? Round them up, put them in cages and let starve to death slowly…..good enough for them. SARCASM ALERT!!!

  3. If you have to resort to an exterminator, Rene of Fumiga is fantastic. Have you talked to the folks at the garden center near the Oxo? (that little shop, sorry I can't think of the name...) They're also very helpful and knowledgeable.

  4. First, I am talking about puppies from 30+ years experience volunteering at shelters and in breed rescue. If someone wants both, don't not let them adopt, but don't require that they stay together. Also understand that too often the paired puppies never really bond with their owners.

  5. $25 a year of the average taxpayers budget goes to social welfare programs??? What propaganda are you reading??? 100 million taxpayers @ $25 oer month is $25 million dollars. A virtual hiccup in the Federal social program budget. There is sales tax in most states. State sales tax & State property taxes support welfare for the state. The SNAP or food stamp program the largest expense in the USDA budget. If not taxpayers who is paying the bill Americans are the most charitable country in the world on a per capita basis. Most people want to work true, and there are more jobs available in the USA than people to fill them. So why are they not working?? Have you ever visited a food stamp office?? or a Welfare office?? or a public hospitals waiting room?? I have and the vast majority are very able bodied people. I once worked with 4 generations of women who all listed their primary income source as welfare. When the incentive is not to work then it is easy not to work. And that ugly middle aged overweight woman can easily get one of hundreds of jobs other than being a waitress.

  6. And here is another story keeping brother and sister together. Frick and Frack are the 2 blondies in the pic. A friend died so we took them and discovered they were 11-12 years old and the 2 other separate owners before our friend also died. they obviously were together for a long time. Not only did they bond with us,but our other rescues as well until their death last year at the age of 18 and 19.

  7. Nope not confusing food stamps with something that happened 150 years ago. Are you suggesting that the Department of Agriculture should give 150 acres of land in Oklahoma, Nevada, or Arizona to someone who wants food stamps? ( the fed owns enough land to do so) Times change. But he same can be said for Mexico, Spain vs Indians. Now both countries today have rules...for good reasons. If you are to go far enough back in time all land was stolen or claimed by other people or countries. You can't compare the world of 150-500 years ago to the world of today. So if one wants to have different immigration then it is necessary for the citizens of that country to change their laws. Until they do residents of other countries should respect them. I want to move to Monaco (which is stolen land) but my income doesn't meet their standards. By your suggestion the residents of Monaco are all guilty and shame on them for not allowing me to immigrate there. Just not logical.

  8. Say goodbye to the Temporary Importation Permits or Permiso de Importación Temporal de Vehículos that you used to know, now, as of January 1, 2020 the permits are digital and there are no more window stickers, also no originals, just a digital copy for those who request the permits via the internet. The good news is that if you save the digital copy in your email, there is no risk of losing the permission as used to be the case. *** People crossing by land are still being given the old style permits. *** People crossing by land but who get their Temporary Importation Permits or Permiso de Importación Temporal de Vehículos online MUST still stop at the border to register their entry into Mexico, failure to do so will make them have to return to the border to check in and turn in their FMM form. Police officers will have a cell phone application to be able to scan the new permits and verify them. Hopefully the police and transitos know about the new permits and will not insist on seeing the old ones pegged to the windshield.

  9. That is a generalization. That is a preference, it would seem, of opinions. But half of that may be correct. I go back to what I said: I challenge anyone to identify the difference in a blind taste test.

  10. I think that I'll just stop and get my 'traditional' sticker for a while. There will probably be more Police and Transitos who know NOTHING about this for a while and will want big mordida since your sticker is not only 'out-of-date' but doesn't even exist! Cellphone App my app. Thanks for the Post Spencer. Probably should be a "Sticky"

  12. I almost hit a gringo moto rider about noon in La Floresta today where they have put the new planter boxes. The lane there is much narrower than it used to be. I was going west concentrating on the road surface and how close the planters were into my lane. I saw a good sized pot hole and jogged right to miss it. The gringo moto rider just squeezed out between me and the planters where he should not have been. Those lanes are just not wide enough to share and one shouldn't have to.

  13. I'll take the bait. Funny how there are NO people trying to sneak into socialist countries, Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, N Korea, Russia, China. Also NO people in the US who claim to be socialists moving out of the US to one of the aforementioned countries.

  18. You can PM me if you really want an answer (I'm skeptical). In the mean time look around and see if you can find any successful large scale examples of real socialism and let me know your findings in your PM. Try not to confuse the real thing with countries that are based on private economies but have a lot of social services as many do.

  19. I have a bird issue too, sparrows, swallows and kiskadees or who knows, all I know is they are not welcome pooping everywhere and let me tell you it takes the paint right off metal surfaces and is a true eyesore, along with they see themselves in my windows at ungodly 7am hours and bang on my windows. I too have done all the tactics the OP mentioned. It is causing me lack of sleep, time wasted continually cleaning and seriously birds are carriers of everything. They need to go one way or the other, just how. ???

Secretary of Communications and Transportation Infrastructure" AMLO raised the cuota fees last Feb. 2019 on many cuotas and just did it again. "Capufe increases 4.8% road and bridge rates 02 FEBRUARY 2019 - 09:35 a.m. In a statement it was detailed that the increase is equivalent to the inflation recorded, so that the service can be fulfilled by WRITING The government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced an increase of 4.8% to the roads of Federal Roads and Bridges, which began on February 1, 2019. In a statement it was detailed that the increase is equivalent to the inflation recorded, so that it will be possible to comply with the service requirements in the administration of the highway sections. “The resources collected by tolls of the highways integrated in the concession network are used to cover the expenses associated with the operation and conservation, as well as to provide financial support for the development of communications, transport, water, environment and tourism sectors, for the benefit of the population, ”cites the press release. The infrastructure of Capufe, which depends on the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT), is made up of 42 highways and 32 bridges, of which 12 are international. The collection at the Cuernavaca-Acapulco highway house increased from 432 pesos to 452 pesos; Mexico Cuernavaca from 98 to 103 pesos. The Mexico-Querétaro highway rose from 166 pesos to 174 pesos and the Mexico-Puebla from 165 to 173 pesos." 4.8 + 3 = 7.8 percent in one year. That is what I have noticed driving the cuotas in SLP and other states. They are higher than ever.

  22. Mostly Lost is right on..You have adopted this brain washing that every Tom, Dick, and Muslim should be admitted and we should acknowledge their claim to all the free shit that is available, much of which is unavailable to under or unemployed U.S .Citizens..Give me a break..Those wanting to immigrate should apply and be vetted before being admitted and show that they are a willing worker who will adopt our country as their own and not demand that we support their bullshit religious mandates of hatred and intolerance towards our religions and heritage. No difference than in your moving to Mexico, adapt to Mexico's rules and regulations and if you don't or are here illegally pack your ### back to where you wandered in from..

  25. Excellent presentation and very informative for anyone who is on the fence about what cannabinoids can do for you. Yes, the hosts (not the presenters) do have a CBD product available but is only mentioned in the last 5 minutes of the talk. The product is made in Colorado and it is third party tested and the certificate of analysis is available on their website. The SPEAKERS themselves did not promote any product... just the facts of both THC and CBD and what they can do for the body. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

  26. The USA admitted over one million legal immigrants last year. If they are only wanting to escape poverty and danger, why not accept the offer from Mexico for work permits in the southern states?? Better wages and safer than home. Same climate, similar culture, same language. And yes they can climb out of poverty & squalor in Mexico. My friends mother was a divorced maid and took ironing at night. All of her children went to university. Now are all professionals in the upper middle class of Mexico.

  29. Pitiful way to think? Or realistic? When was the last time you visited a food stamp office, welfare office, or public hospital waiting room in the US? In one of the debates every presidential candidate raised their hand yes to the question would you give free healthcare to illegal immigrants. And now that Mexico won't give free passage to Central Americans, but instead offers work visas for the southern states of Mexico most Central Americans are choosing to stay home. So is it jobs they want? The Chinese, Africans, Haitians, and Cubans can't do that so they pay cartels to help them cross illegaly through Mexico and into the US. The USA had over one million legal immigrants last year. (possibly the highest number in the world) Those immigrants went through a process that included proof of income or sponsorship.... Just like Mexico requires proof of income for residency. And those legal immigrants to Mexico bring a lot of money into the economy.

I wonder why that is? ...And if they did "break in" how do you suppose the Mexican government would treat them? I have my own thoughts about that but of course, it's just MHO.
