My recommendation: Clinica de Rehabilitacion Integral, Dra. Justina Jimenez Lopez, Carretera Poniente #234 D Int., Ajijic, Tel. (376) 766-5563. While I have used this rehabilitation clinic for other physical problems, I have witnessed first hand for the last 11 years several severely physically compromised patients due to strokes make fantastic progress under the care of Dra. Justina and her staff. These are very capable, knowledgeable, English speaking professionals. Dra. Justina can provide a physical therapy program or adhere to one set forth by your Mother's specialist in Guadalajara. She has done both for me over the years. Each therapy session usually last for 1 hour and the cost is $350.00 pesos per session which right now is about $18.00 U.S. dollars. If necessary, they will also come to your home but it would probably be much better, if possible, for your Mom to get out and about a little and this would be an excellent start. In my opinion, having experience with my Mom's care in the States and then here Lakeside as well as mine and my husband's, your Mom would be much better off here at Lakeside as far as healthcare is concerned. However, I realize there are other concerns to be considered that only you and she can determine. You might like to call and talk to Dra. Justina directly and have her address some of your concerns. If so, I would suggest that you call sometime Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon.

A GSM, factory unlocked Iphone 6 will work just about everywhere (except Japan and maybe South Korea) with a SIM chip that works in that country. Other than color and screen size, the only other selection is capacity; 32gb or 128gb and that depends on how many pictures, songs, or movies you want to store on the phone. Note that Telcel SIMs (even the Amigo) have data and voice packages for many countries. For overseas I change the SIM chip to a "OneSim Plus" SIM which is much less expensive for data and calls. When travelling to Europe or Asia you can buy in most airports SIMs for that country (or a group of countries) that are preloaded with a certain amount of data or minutes for calling. The "OneSIM Plus" is usually less expensive.

MoreLiana recommended this sharpener a few years ago - I respected her opinion and bought a couple - they are wonderful.

We've moved a long way from the car washers of Walmart - who, as of this morning, are still missing from the parking lot. It's kind of pleasant to be able to park and not hear the question "car wash?".

High season runs through Easter. Tough to get a bargain right now, Anthony. Hotel Perico rents for 350 USD per month. It is on the Ajijic libramiento about a mile out of town. Cell phone number 333-142-0012. 10-13 dollars a night is pretty limiting.

Looks like there will be parking in front of it and the driveway will exit in the same place the previous one did, onto the Carretera. Good luck with the last part given the very frequent gridlock in that stretch these days. Can't imagine assisted living in a location that is going to be very noisy from Carretera traffic. The other place on the north side and east of this one is definitely going to be a pawnshop, "FastCash" which I believe is a franchise. The good news is you won't have to go very far to look for your stolen stuff.

Sorry Lexi, but your post does sound negative. To say you called them to say you would not pay $50 delivery for the detergent you "apparently" ordered and to say you will never order from them again is like a slap in the face. This service is excellent! Think about it - you don't have to buy a membership, you can shop from the comfort of your home, you don't have to fight traffic to drive there, or have the wear and tear on your vehicle, or spend money for the gas. Cynthia and her husband are true professionals - they will go out of their way to find the exact item you want......and they did.......and you complained you will be charged an extra fee for delivery. Shame on you - you embarrass me

It sounds like you did complain, and just from your original post, I would imagine you like to complain a lot. I'm sure the decision to cancel your order was not made lightly. There is a notice on their webpage that clearly states there is an extra store charge if items comes from another store. And, I know in the weekly emails I receive that clients are reminded repeatedly to review the information page or to ask questions. 50 pesos seems like a reasonable amount to pay for someone to go to another store to buy something you ordered and deliver it to your home. What would you charge someone to do this? I think your post was totally uncalled for and spiteful on your part. I have used their service for several years and found them to be honest, caring, dependable, punctual and thoughtful. In other words, they offer a wonderful service with integrity! She went out of her way to find several items I'd been looking for but couldn't find. When I ordered an item by mistake, they were happy to return it with no problem or charge. You said you weren't going to use the service again, so just move on. Your post was just trying to hurt their reputation. Shame on you! I hope you have a wonderful day!
