I got something about error occurring on several occasions Wed and Thur, but I don't think I ever saw the words "Securi Website Fire Wall". Also saw nothing of the rest of what you've said.

Yesterday, when attempting to log on to this Board my screen was filled with a message from a company calling themselves Securi Website Fire Wall. I was informed that I had been blocked and blacklisted. Sadly, I never felt a thing! The page listed my IP and other information. On opening a box where I could supposedly inform the Board of this problem it became apparent that this was nothing more than a scam and they were trying to sell me a security programme. The same thing happened this morning and this is my third attempt at posting this response. Has anyone else been subjected to this?

Wednesday AND Thursday off way more than on.....couldn't ever get to the point of asking if I was unique or was general. So far this a.m. Friday ok.... but it's early yet!

I used to buy a lot of second hand books. Then I read an article about transmission of bedbug eggs on books and started thinking about other people's personal habits while reading so I bought my first Kindle Paperwhite. I've never regretted it and I love all the options for books that are available for downloading... usually free... and I also send those files to friends who ask. I find that a lot of downloads are available in E-pub format whereas the Kindle uses Mobi format. Doesn't matter to me because I also use a free downloadable program called Calibre which can convert from one format to another and then send it to your device. Honestly, I was stumped for a minute; What the heck is Kindle Paperwhite?? - I had to look that one up - at first I thought some kind of paper. I do download books to my laptop wired to a widescreen - or resort to the old fashioned paper versions😎

As an example, recently I tried logging into my old Ebay account, not used for years but their new system calls for phone verification. I needed to login to update my phone number, etc. but Ebay insisted the verification must be sent to my ancient dead landline. Of course no success. I emailed a report to their support department - nada. Finally after a week, I logged in using my Google account and updated my Ebay account. Next time, I need not use Google.

Overall, good reports. Booked two tickets one-way, PV to TO, paid about $560 CDN total for the 2 tickets, with the checked baggage package and upfront seat choices. Recommend to BYO water, drinks, and food onboard, the in-flight selections are limited and $$ IMHO. No wi-fi, no internet, very basic that way also, so BYO entertainment. Apart from that, todo bien. No Air Canada staff forcing you to sit in a vomit covered seat or be dragged off the plane, anyway.

Definitely problems yesterday, seems OK today. I have recommended changing hosting here a number of times. TOB, for example, runs far better and has better graphics. This suggestion has fallen on deaf ears.

Yes, up here in Seattle, where I have very very fast internet, I am experiencing the same problems as you, timing out and when able to stay connected, getting almost nowhere on the web board. Earlier today, I couldn't even get connected. I would get messages saying that there were already too many folks online, or something like that.

First slow as molasses, then down most of day then back up but now SLOWER than molasses. You?
