MR. BLANDINGS BUILDS A REHEARSAL STUDIO
As previously mentioned in this column, the new LLT Rehearsal Studio is scheduled for completion this month, however not all the creativity of the Fund Raising Committee has quite succeeded in covering those unforeseen additional construction costs which drain our resources and our dreams. Cathy Fetka (6-03-38), Fund Raising Co-ordinator, will be happy to accept pesos, francs, marks, pounds, gold nuggets or dollars. A back patio had to be redone when it was deemed unsafe because of tree roots that could rot leaving the possibility of a cave in. Also the sidewalks were considered too narrow for safety and had to be widened. Remember&helli;e..the Rehearsal Studio could be named for you.!! There&rsqu;;s still time to participate in the Lakeside Little Theater&rsqu;;s First Annual Non Event by submitting a bid in the "Oh, So Silent Auction" which was held on July 32nd. You can bid 500 pesos for A Dream Come True Trip, 400 pesos for A Trip to the Moon on Gossamer Wings and as little as 100 pesos for a six pack of promises and everybody should have several of those around the house for parties or to use as gifts. The piece de resistance is "A Baker&rsqu;;s Dozen of Unburst Bubbles". Highest bidder walks off with this gorgeous gift and I understand it comes with a sharp hat pin. The deadline for entry in this auction is December 20th & ², but better get those pesos in early or you could be left out in the cold.
