No Biz Like Shoe Biz:

Over 95,000 pesos was raised among the 250 in attendance at the shoe biz fundraiser in aid of the Niños Incapacitados. Like most of the charitable events held here, it could not have happened without the unselfish donation of the many volunteers who decorated and donated shoes, of those who were willing to prepare gourmet meals for an auction that raised an astonishing 60,000 pesos, and without the musical talent of Glenn Charles & Ronnie and the Juniors. The children in the Niños Incapacitados program and their families thank all those who attended, and all the volunteers—including organizers Robin Lawrason, Barbara Clippinger, Marsha Germaise, Averial Miller, Pat Doran, Jim Lloyd, Lorraine Keefer, Donna Carnall, Norine Rose and Suzanne Wolf—who made this event so extraordinarily successful.
