Love Letters brought the year to an end again. It seemed like the first production was just last week, but come September, we will all be looking forward to what the next season will have in its grab bag of surprises.
The envelope please. And the winner is……Hard choices this year since there were so many outstanding actors. Who could forget Norma Jean Lyerly in her tu tu or Georgette Richmond with her hand out for money? And kudos to Wayne Palfrey for playing the male lead as well as directing. Nor can you overlook the great acting by pros and newcomers alike as well as the fine directing of the Little Foxes. Maybe they should all get the brass Aajickajick statuette.
On the 29th of April the theater threw an Applause Party for cast and crew It was a chance to let off steam, tell all the funny things that happened, how production problems were overcome, and just plain getting together without the strain of remembering lines, and getting all the cues in the right places.
The slate of officers remains the same for the theater, except Liz White will take over as the second VP. Liz has a lot of theater experience, so she will fit in that slot nicely.
Don’t forget to renew your membership and nail down your season tickets. Don’t be left out in the cold.
