Hope to see you Thursday at Roberto's, 5:00, for our webboard meet and greet!
Denver
Do you just show up for the meet and greet? or do I need to inform someone about attending? I'll be in town closing on our new place and would really enjoy meeting folks and putting faces to the names here a Chapala.com.

OK 'I would like to be at the meet and greet, but where is Roberto's. It has been said that he is in a new location, but I need specific instructions - remember me, the location dysfunctional lady blink.gif I have several good maps, and what really helps me is cross streets as well as the side of the street the place is on (N S E W). smile.gif

Also is dinner going to be part of the gathering or is it just drinks and snacks? If I do have dinner, do I need to make a reservation?

If you want to be at the meet and greet, show up at Roberto's from 5:00 pm on. Go east out of Ajijic past the last traffic light (Colon), up the hill, and just over the hill is Roberto's on the right. When you start going down the hill, his place is right there on the right. (If you see La Casa de Waffle, you've gone too far.) If you're taking the bus, get off the bus on the next stop after the last light on Colon. Dinner, food, etc., is on your own.

You meant she should go WEST of Ajijic centro. Roberto's is on the mountain (north) side but it's on the hill above the carretera, and not level with the road. Across the street from the restaurant is Strom-White moving and the new bar that looks like a cafe from the outside, can't remember the name. Roberto's also is just east of the big car wash place on the same side as the restaurant. Hope I haven't confused you, Dianna.

Geez when people get senile they lose all sense of direction- - -

Robertos is at the West side of Ajijic. It's pretty much directly across from the Strom White Warehouse which is at 30 pte.
There's a sign that says Robertos.

First do not go "East out of Ajijic past the last traffic light (Colon)" as was suggested above. Colon is neither the most Easterly nor most Westerlly light in Ajijic. Rather if coming from the East, go West past the second to last traffic light which is at Colon and past the most Westerly traffic light which is at Juarez, not going up Juarez but continuing on for two more blocks going West over that hill and look to the right as was suggested by Maddogpir3

PS if you were to go up Juarez to the top, the view would be almost as good as the view from the top of Bell Hill, dianna.

Diana will be traveling east as she is staying west of Ajijic. Her best landmarks coming from that direction are Dona Lola on her right and the Sparkle Car Wash on her left. Roberto's will be on her left JUST past them.

It was really cool meeting someone here who knows Sequim and Bell Hill. I enjoyed our visit. Too bad you couldn't have stayed longer. tongue.gif

Years ago I spent several weekends every Jan.-March steelheading on the Soleduck,Calawah, and Bogachiel rivers. Stayed in Sequim a couple times, but stayed mostly in Forks.
