Lakeside Friends of the Animals pays for 40 Spay / neuters a month thanks to the help of the Ladrons.

These are for Mexicans of Limited means .  Your housekeeper simple goes to the Ladrons clinic presents her identification and makes an appointment to have her pet neutered.

LFA also pays for emergency care for a number of dogs and cats each month again for Mexicans of Limited means.

Although there are several versions and variations of the gin-soaked raisin remedy, the general recipe seems to go something like this:

• take a box of golden raisins. (note: they must be the golden variety, sometimes called white raisins, not ordinary black raisins).
• place the raisins in a shallow container.
• cover the raisins with gin.

I believe by the  long passport he is referring to  the 10 year passport being introduced in July.  I also hope it will be available to those of us living here in Mexico
