I've seen them there picking off motorists. They looked at my car as I passed, Mexican plated, and just kept going. It's just like the speed traps in the US only here they are making it up as they go.

In Topic: Will My Telcel iPhone Work in Laredo?

Probably. When I'm in the states my Telcel GSM phone always connects through AT&T. So if Laredo has AT&T, no problem
Pete what are the charges when you use ATT on your telcel account NOB. any idea?
In Topic: Recommendation on best place to buy a vacuum cleaner
26 April 2013 - 08:50 AM
I've recently looked for a vacuum cleaner lakeside - Walmart and Coppel had nothing worthwhile. I got my best vacuum in Guadalajara at Fabricas de Francia 14 years ago and it lasted 10 years - it was as an LG. Bought a Koblenz at Walmart a year ago and it's motor just died. Sorianna had a few but did not look like good quality and all were in boxes in the front of the store so you couldn't see them. Some of my best vacuum's were found at thrift shops lakeside so you may want to try Upscale Resale and the two across from 7-11 in Riberas.
