Topics I've Started

Retired Military

17 February 2010 - 01:03 PM

I have been tracking TRICARE availability in Mexico for a while. I contacted Hospital San Javier in Guadalajara last year and they had discontinued accepting TRICARE. They are now back on. All one has to do is present documents (Ret Mil ID Card, Passport, etc) and they handle all the processing of the paperwork/claims.

According to a representative at the International Health Insurance Dept. at San Javier, one only needs to pay for deductibles, and the annual limits.. from then on it's free sailing..

Internet CFE Account

I've been trying to access my CFE (Electricity) on line. Prior to this, I've never had problems with it.

My question is: Are any of you experiencing the same?

In Search of Sage..

I'm in Guadalajara and have been recruited to cook up a turkey for Christmas... I have been to WalMart, Sam's, and Costco.. None of them carry it. Does anyone have an idea where I can get it in Guad? If not, does Superlake have it??

Thanks in Advance

Lengthy article in the latest issue regarding Medicare..

Finally, a realistic and rational piece.
