Regata de Globos en Ajijic Uno de los eventos más icónicos y esperados es la Regata de Globos de Ajijic, que en 2025 tendrá lugar el 13 de septiembre. Ese día, el cielo se convierte en un lienzo en movimiento cuando cientos de globos de papel de seda artesanal son lanzados al aire por familias, escuelas y grupos comunitarios. Cada globo es una obra de arte hecha a mano: algunos pequeños y delicados, otros enormes y llenos de detalles, todos iluminados por el fuego que los hace elevarse. El ambiente en la explanada es inigualable: Música alegre que acompaña la tarde. Puestos de comida con antojitos mexicanos como esquites, tamales, tacos y aguas frescas. La emoción colectiva de ver cómo los globos logran elevarse con éxito o, en ocasiones, se encienden en el aire, provocando risas y aplausos. La Regata de Globos no es solo un espectáculo visual, sino también un símbolo del ingenio y la creatividad mexicana, atrayendo cada año a fotógrafos, turistas y amantes de la cultura popular.
