Handy Mail - The rest of the story . . . .
29 April 2012 - 07:34 AM
I have been a Handy Mail customer since shortly after arriving here in the spring of 2007, and have always been very satisfied with their service. I was there yesterday to pick up my mail and to use their Vonage phone. Being curious about all postings on here, I asked them about what exactly happened and what I can expect in the future. Since the person who has the gripe with them has made it all public already, they felt they could respond freely to my concerns. Here is what they told me.
HANDY MAIL DID REFUND TO THE CUSTOMER 100% OF ALL THE FUNDS THEY RECEIVED, less one months Box Rent which was agreed to. Her bank took the 6% fee. HM did not charge for any of the time when mail was not properly received and they were struggling with the USPS. Letters with an incorrect or insufficient address which cannot be delivered are usually found in the Laredo shipper's Undeliverable Mail Bin at their Sorting Facility. They also gave the customer some free service which she continues to receive plus email advisories when any mail arrives. The mail delivery glitch was caused at the Central Mailing Facility to which her local US Post Office sent the mail forwarding address. These Facilities make up the Yellow Forwarding Labels and frequently botch the job. This happened to their initial mail service. And that, folks, is the rest of the story.

UPDATE ON HORSES
16 April 2012 - 10:12 AM
Now we come to the pupose of this posting, one of the Charros is attempting to buy the horses in order to save them. In the meantime there is no money to buy food. So, contrary to the posting yesterday, please do help.
Gudrun is asking all of you kind people to get together as you had posted yesterday and donate money and buy food and feed the horses.
Gudrun and I, as well as all the animal lovers reading this are so grateful to know there are so many who love and care for these gentle, sweet animals. Thank you so much for caring.
As Gudrun gives me further updates I will pass them along to you on this site.
