Experienced, Professional, Bilingual Caregiver Available
Entirely for financial reasons, and after my dad’s passing, we have recently closed up my parents’ house here and moved my mother into a convalescent facility.
Now our superb caregiver, Jose Garcia, who had taken care of both my parents – one with Alzheimer’s, the other blind, incontinent and bedridden, is available and looking for a new position.
Jose lived and worked in Denver for years with various elderly patients both as a caregiver and as staff member of several convalescent facilities, and is bilingual. He has experience with all forms of dementia, diabetes, cancer care, and virtually every condition afflicting the elderly. He is completely professional, and keeps highly detailed financial and medical records. He managed both my parents’ care and their home for several years, providing not only their daily care personally but dealing with the gardeners, maids, all medical personnel and making sure the house was kept in good order.
He is also a wonderful person whom we consider to be part of our family now.
If you’re looking for a truly professional caregiver, and you’d like to contact him, his cell phone is 045-331-332-8910 or e-mail josegarcia2500@gmail.com

Want Nikon D60 Manual and supplemental guide?
23 October 2012 - 07:26 AM
This might seem crazy but I wonder if anyone out there who has a Nikon D60 would like the manual and a copy of the book "Nikon D60 Field Guide" by Dennis Thomas.
I just came back from the States where I traded in my D60 and a few old, pre-autofocus lenses, for a newer model. I traded in all the accessories for the camera too, but neglected to pack the manuals (one in English and one in Spanish) and the Field Guide, which is a terrific litle book, very helpful.
I would be happy to just GIVE these to someone; I could send them up to the store in New York where I traded the camera in but it would cost a fortune and I suspect the camera itself is sold by now anyway!
Let me know via PM or even here - all you have to do is stop by and pick the books up - I'm in West Ajijic.

Lost cat in San Antonio
19 October 2012 - 04:11 PM
My maid's much-loved cat, Romina, got out of her house somehow and she is hoping someone may see her. Her grandchildren are brokenhearted. She disappeared a few days ago on Calle San Jose in San Antonio, possibly wearing a kitty halloween outfit - she does have a red collar and a tag with her name and phone number on it. She's a long-haired, "chubby", striped tabby, with a lot of orange in her - obviously completely domesticated and affectionate and will respond to her name. She's never been outdoors and we're all praying somehow someone might find her.
If anyone has spotted such a kitty, you can pm me ... or just post something here!
mil gracias ---
