According to Wunderground, the temp when the big wind blew in went from 80F to 64F between 5 and 6pm.

There are always 2-3 heavy rains here the end of May, prompting some to call an early rainy season. The classic was 10-12 years ago when it rained heavily end of May and some called it. Then not one drop for 2 weeks until the usual start, June 11-16 or so.

And it isn’t even humid yet. Watch the dew point go up in the next couple,of weeks.

Any forecast for tomorrow based on today’s picture? Family arriving from US, there are many incoming flights still on for arrival from major airlines tomorrow afternoon alone. Interested in people getting to Chapala or Ajijic from airport tomorrow, not today. Thanks.

We just used Val’s sister Selecia (who is in Florida) to notarize a financial POA and two affidavits, all in Minnesota and we live year round in Ajijic. Took 15-20 minutes with seamless “paper” work. Excellent service. John and Kathleen (hi Val).

You need the app. We have had trouble with getting the app. The people at BBVA in Chapala have twice spent a long time in person trying to help and the step where a text is sent to my phone doesn’t work and they say nothing can be done and blame it on the fact that my Mexican phone is on AT&T. “We’ve had trouble with AT&T.” Got the new card and can use ATMs but need what you need and haven’t been able to get it. Hope you get a working app that includes the constantly changing code.

Scallion just posted a NY DAY buffet til 1:30pm. Don’t know price or start time. Places open NY DAY are rare, totally different than the Eve before.

I agree. If I am just approaching my car and look down at the plate, it’s much thinner than the previous one.

Curious to know if this has happened to anyone else. Had a reservation for four at 5:30 on a Wednesday (today, made earlier)at Casa Linda, and received a call at 11AM that our reservation was canceled due to “a group of 17”. No other nearby times available. Although we have enjoyed the place in the past, have lived here 15 years and felt a bit miffed. Not a positive feeling about future reservations, especially if for a more special occasion.
