I have 2 new basil plants and the white flies love them too much.  I have tried the only pesticide available at Home Depot but they just laugh at me.  Do any of you gardeners have a suggestion to get rid of the little buggers?

I would like to buy a vacuum cleaner and in order to avoid the headache of finding bags (not an easy task even in the States) I need to know if anyone has bought a Mexican brand, which ones/brands are best , approximate cost, and the best place to buy one.  I don't need one that is super powerful, but it needs to have extensions to get into small spaces and a rotating brush for rugs.  Thanks for your input.

Wednesday 3/27 El Patio 4:30-6:30  Carol is subbing for Jerry Mayfield while he is on vacation.  2 hours of good old country music for your listening and dancing pleasure,

Thursday, Chapala Country Club.  Carol is  performing for the benefit for Cristian sponsored by the Shriners.  This is to raise money to send this little darling and his mom to Canada for surgery to allow his to hear and learn to speak as well as reconstructive surgery for his external ears (He was born without any)  This is a great family and a worthy cause so we hope you will attend.   If you want tickets there is a thread already started with that info or pm me and I will see that you get some.

After that she will be in the States for a few weeks and will resume singing  most likely in June, but I will keep you posted if that changes.
