In Topic: Best Way to Get to CostCo via Bus from Ajijic

I admire your attitude. Lakeside, I love using public transit, always a pleasant adventure, and Mexicans are just so fine, considerate, and I think they get a kick out of seeing gringos/as along for the ride. I love it when a mobile trobadoor (sic) gets on with a guitar, does their music/song thing and work the crowd. I love it when a teenage Mexican gets on the bus with a bag of hard candy and starts handing it out. I love it when I leave my $3.50 hat on the bus and start sprinting (62 yr. old guys are not wired for sprinting) for the next bus stop where the driver (my hat in his hand) hands it over and gives me "the look". That look said tons. THAT was my intro to mexico/lakeside. As for taking public transit to a Costco in Guad, the Joco route seems the best bet. Going the other way. SIMPLE. DON'T. The cruz roja trips are great. You can stuff a lot of stuff into those belly bins. A little extra tip to the driver won't hurt, and I'm sure he'd love a speciality coffee/tea drink for the drive back.

I would also suggest that you loose your doctor. He/She doesn't have a clue. If you were to have a "jammer"/heart attack, the paramedics will inject you with magnesium, usually straight into the heart muscle, why, cause magnesium carries O2. Better health = more magnesium = more 02 uptake. Duh. My pharmacist concocts magnesium oil for me. i drip about 8 drops/day onto the inside of my forearms and rub it in. it's pricey, but my $ 90 investment should last a year. Do the math. Cheap, in my books.

Bicarbonate of soda - you know - Arm & Hammer. I buy it by the flat @ Costco here in Canada - cheap. Pour a box into a nice hotitsh bath three times a week. It will help your feet, help detoxify your body, and leave you feeling silky smooth. This really works. Trust me. Just do it. Besides, you'll be squeaky clean.

Ever heard of those freezer block thingies. There's always 2 or 3 in our cold pack thingy. Insulated thing on wheels, extendable handle, all good. Our dimensions - 20 inches, squared. Great in markets.

So, apparently "Fogon" is cheaper and better. Do U have an address or website. Curious.
