In Topic: what car to buy - can't afford or want big SUV

We bought a Honda FIT nearly three years ago through S&S Auto. Great service; nice people, BTW.
It has a higher road clearance than the made-for-U.S. models; we never have a problem with topes unless one sneaks up on us, but so far, no problems.
Has some of the nice features you usually find in more expensive cars. Unibody construction for safety. Rides well; plenty of room for passengers in the back seats and all the seats fold down to give extra cargo space. Easy on fuel; easy to park. The dealer on Gonzalez Gallo in Guad. services it periodically under the warranty.
I have a 2006 CRV that I will have to sell. So sad -a great car. Do not care for the newer ones as their ground clearance has dropped from 8.1 in 2006 to 6.3 for 2013. I would like the Fit but the 5.5 ground clearance is the negative factor. What is the clearance of your Fit???
Wonder when the new Fit suv will be available???
appreciate any replys

Maine Coons....I bought a new 2012 Honda CRV in Guadalajara last February and it was equal to, or cheaper, than the same car in the U.S.
The newer CRV's do not have the ground clearance of the 2006 - or the great picnic table in the hidden spare tire well.

Where was your 2006 CRV built??? We love ours but it was made in UK for USA market so it does not qualify.
In Topic: Please help with A Neurosurgeon in Guadalajara area

My husband is in serious need of a nuerosurgeon in the Guadalajara area. He has 2 herniated discs and pinched sciatic nerve. He lives on pain meds and needs help. Does anyone know of a top notch Neurosurgeon to help. His quality of life is pathetic..at age 62 he spends approx 4 days a week in bed because of pain. Any info would be so appreciated.
Dr Ernesto Girbau at Del Carmen was very thorough & concerned. Gave great care.
