I'm looking to replace 4 talavera dinner plates that were broken during a move. The ones I'm looking for have scalloped edges. Have not been able to locate any lakeside. Does anyone know of a shop or maker in Guadalajera for high end talavera dishes or places to check lakeside besides the talavera tienda? Thanks.

I was stopped in my VW Tiguan returning from picking someone up at the airport approximately 8:30 p.m. Had a bicycle rack which folded up with no bikes. I had driven from McAllen a month before. through several checkpoints and no one ever said anything. The cop said the bicycle rack prevented my license plate from being seen and demanded $8000 MX or the car would be towed to Chapala and I could retrieve it the next day. You could clearly see the license plate. That's why the rack folded up. Finally ended up paying $2000 MX or we'd probably still be standing on the roadside. I repeatedly told him to call the tow truck and tried to hand him the keys but he just stood there demanding the $8000 pesos. Finally gave in and gave him the $2000 and he happily waddled off.

In the last few days my 2016 VW Tiguan will not start after sitting overnight or for an extended period. Jumps and restarts easily. Had the battery checked twice and the alternator and both checked out fine. Any suggestions on someone locally who could maybe diagnose what is causing the problem short of making a trip to the VW dealer in Guadalajara?
