Thanks for the postings. I have never been on this kinda site before, and don't really know how it works.
I am not very good on the computer, in fact, I have a hard time with using it. Yes, I probably made a mistake,
but I still had one good answer with the info I was looking for! Thanks Terry!
I currently live in Panama, and want to leave due to many problems with schooling, visas, and legal issues. The system here is
terribly slow, and beyond frustrating. It took me 15 days of sitting in offices to get my Panamanian drivers license renewal looked at.
4 months later, still no license! I feel abused! I live in paranoia, driving with no license. It could cost me $1500 if my car were
to get impounded for driving without a license. My Canadian license is valid, but not here!
My Grandchildren are 9 and 12 years old, and have a private tutor. I want to have them attend a school with other
children, and hopefully make a bunch of friends. Private tuition here is expensive, and far from ideal for growing kids.
I don't want to move to Canada again, too cold for me! I will contact the schools listed, and see if it sounds like
something that would work for us.
Mexico may be the next stop, it looks great, but so did Panama when I did my research!
Anyone who can tell me the negatives of living in Mexico, I would love to hear from.
Thanks to all who read this, and those who respond. I will figure out how it works, as I go along!!
Lizanne
How corrupt are the police there?? Are expats constantly being bribed??
Anyone who has children there, I would love to hear from you.
