I am grateful  for the many friends i have made during my 4 years here at Lake Chapala.  My life is richer and I will have fond memories

to recall (when I am freezing my butt off in Ireland!!)

I am sorry I could not  get together with each and every one of you before leaving here.  I want you to know  that your friendships have enriched my life.

PLEEEESE CAN YOU FIND ROOM FOR THESE GUYS?

Our wonderful “Mum” had a series of mini-strokes just before Christmas, & will be flown back to a special Veterans facility in the Boston area on Tuesday with family as, sadly, she suffered brain damage.  It’s been hard knowing she was still our Mum, but “different” & we love her lots ‘cos she’s very sweet & spoils us rotten. 

There are four of us cuddly bundles:  Calico, Saffron, Squeaker & Baybo.  Calico (I’m a long-suffering girl amongst a houseful of boys!) is shy, Saffron – is gorgeously handsome with long blonde hair (steady, ladies), but has a “delicate” tummy & then the two “babies” are just downright full of themselves!  The “boys” would really love to stay together ‘cos they keep each other company & out of mischief (LOL!!!) & have some really interesting games that they play that will divert you from all that boring stuff humans watch on TV.  For instance, they’re awesome with any kind of ball!  Calico & Saffron could be homed separately & would make much quieter companions.

The Animal Shelter has kindly agreed to try to find homes for them.  If you think you have room in your home (& hearts) for these wonderful feline friends, please PM me ASAP!  Thanks so much!

I am requesting this on behalf of a friend.

We are looking for an ex-pat that might like to live rent free in return for light care of a stroke patient.

Daily help is already available.  Duties would include :

encouraging patient to work on painting, drawing and reading out loud.

taking short walks,

interacting with friends

keeping the home clean, shopping for food, reporting to next of kin in USA.

4 cats currently live in the house!

This care is needed immediately and possibly for several months
