Hello David, I was just talking today with reps from both Aetna and UHC Medicare Advantage plans. They both said the same thing i.e. that truly urgent and emergency care would be covered ..but you would have to pay out of pocket in Mexico and then file for reimbursement. Please note that Lakeside Medical, San Antonio Hospital and perhaps other local medical facilities say that they will coordinate with Medicare Advantage plans from only certain bigger US companies (they have a list).. Please note that no Mex medical facility can deal with regular Medicare (run by the US govt.). Good Luck!

It looks like the theater at Laguna Centro is open again, but under new management. All of the movies on the billboard are listed in Spanish...so I'm wondering if any English-speaking movies are shown there. Does anyone have the contact info for that theater (or the name)? Thanks Mucho!

On Sunday November 5th, the guard at El Dorado reported that a dog had been hit by a speeding car on the Libramiento. I took him to the vet for stitches and am taking care of him until his owner can be found...or an adoptive home. He was wearing a collar but had no identification. "Spot" (as I call him) is a short-haired young male (~2 y/o?), and ~ 30 lbs. He is white with black patches and has a loving temperament.
