We live up the street from Gossip's and walk there regularly for a cup of gumbo or curry when we don't want to cook. He had a special last night of a bowl of chili and a beer for 90 pesos. The chili was awesome! Every Tuesday he plays New Orleans music and has "specials"on the menu. I have tried these a couple of times and enjoyed them. Have you been there before?, may I ask if tonight was your first time, what makes you recommend "real New Orleans Fat Tuesday" there.

I ate at Gossip's tonight and the chili was to die for! Ismat (the chef from Kenya) won the Chili Cookoff a year ago and it defintely shows. His curry is also exceptional. And if you like New Orleans food --try his gumbo. Drop by on Tuesday for a real "New Orleans" Fat Tuesday fix. I love the place and will make it a regular stop.

Bringing my queen size wrought iron bed frame, which I love, to Lakeside is probably like bringing coals to Newcastle.
I checked to see if Mateos furniture has a website. No. And I don't remember the prices.
Has anyone noticed prices of this item recently? If not there, someplace else not too far away.
Thanks. I am really really trying to reduce what goes with the mover...
