  1. Where? Last time I went into the BX bank in San Antonio they did NOT have an ATM on site.
  2. I'm wondering what the OP might mean by 'brunch'. To me it's more of a time as opposed to a different menu. I doubt... but of course could be wrong... that there is a place Lakeside that serves a brunch menu that can't actually be had if ones goes to breakfast a little late or lunch a little early. I suspect that the restaurants mentioned above just 'say' brunch in their advertisement along with breakfast and lunch to cover all bases but actually don't serve much of anything different. Now there may be some place which actually does do something a bit different on Sundays and calls it 'Sunday Brunch' which is specifically what the OP asked about. YMMV
  3. IMO.... put it in Classified....( maybe ask 1 pesos 😃 )
  4. .... and if you need to when the time comes there are 'plenty' of folks who will assist you or do all the driving for you... then they fly back. Costs a few pesos yes but it solves a problem.
  5. Do the Electrics have any kind of priority when the traffic is bumper to bumper and going about 2 mph.... if not completely stopped!....from about the roundabout to the terminal?
  6. You can read 'Kindle' on just about anything.... including a TV. My eyes just prefer the 'ink' of a kindle. Too glary on anything else for me.
  7. pappysmarket.... it is perfectly legal to, while IN Mexico, buy a US plated vehicle with a TIP on it and drive it back to the US, cancelling said TIP for the original owner at the Mexican border. The current owner does NOT have to go to the border. The process does require that an attorney or Notario be involved for the required paperwork (Seguro Retorno) but it is eazy peazy. I've done this MANY times over the last 15 years.
  8. Like mostlylost said, I changed that.... with tongue in cheek.... the day before. Sorry you missed that inference.
  9. Curious... what do you have, while living full time in Mexico, that qualifies as a 'valid legal' US address? What is it 'legal' for?
  10. Schwab but I'll bet you will have to have a 'valid' US address to give them. Don't know if Schwab will open up an account if you tell them that you live fulltime in Mexico.
  11. I agree Natasha. Not only did the AI blurb not even mention Scotiabank at all but it DID mention two banks that no longer exist.... CI Banco and Intercam. However a more specific question asked of it.... naming Scotiabank ATM near Walmart.... did produce the following. Whether it is right or at least current who knows. The Scotiabank ATM located in the Ajijic/San Antonio Tlayacapan area (near the Centro Laguna mall, which houses Walmart) enforces a maximum withdrawal limit of 12,000 pesos per transaction. While the ATM limits a single pull to 12,000 pesos, you can often make multiple withdrawals back-to-back to reach your personal daily limit, provided the machine is sufficiently stocked.

  13. That hospital previously had an association with the Lakeside Medical Group across from SuperLake. Does anyone know if the new Joya takeover still has an association with Lakeside?
